I'm trying to form a sentence but I'm so pissed I can't even explain why I'm pissed.
Things like this defeat me, completely, because I wouldn't dream of them.

I asked some colleagues for a perfectly reasonable favor. They came up with a reason to deny it. They're the only ones who could help me and my group make something work, but they denied it. Fine. Later I run into them and catch them in their lie, and they have the nerve to ask me if my group had solved the problem. What the fuck
