I hope AB23 is all right during this storm that's going on in Texas. I've heard the power is out in a lot of houses.

Yeah, people here have the tradition of throwing eggs and flour at people who graduate. Luckily today all I saw was paint thrown, otherwise the journey home gets quite smelly!

Not only when someone who graduated from high school or college.. This tradition also goes for those girls who turns 15 years old.
Eggs, flour, foam.. A lot of things..
I have been in the college graduation of my cousin, some friends thrown shit (from a cow) at him.. That's nasty

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
But why throw these kinds of things in the 1st place? Does that really bring good luck or something? And is there enough examples where it has proven to work?

Because people here are messed up and that's reason enough for them (I can say that as a foreigner!).
Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
^ Yeah, here are some weird traditions.. I would have come with 'because people to celebrate likes to being all dirty covered in all sort of things'
(Things as mentioned before)
