I have season tix to TX games this year. I've kind of narrowed it down to the Stros and Orioles, but I think I'm gonna go with the Stros. I'm a big analytics "moneyball" junky, and the Astros were one of the unluckiest teams in baseball last year. If they even get average luck, they are probably the most complete team in the AL.
Springer, Correa, Altuve, and Bregman is a freakin dream core of young guns. Throw in guys like Gurriel, Brian McCann, and Beltran and they have one of the most stacked lineups in the league. They have an outfield with Marisnick, who is basically a defensive specialist, and Springer covering a ton of ground.
They'll have to trade for starting pitching, but Keuchel will have a better year this year. He was like a top 5 most unluckiest pitcher in baseball last year. Fister and McCullers are solid. But their bottom of the rotation needs work. I imagine they'll be in the market for an ace pitcher this summer so they can boot one of them out of the rotation. Hell, if the Rangers continue to struggle, see if they try to trade for Darvish and have a 1-2 of Darvish and Keuchel. Sheesh.
