Re: The Walking Dead
Spoiler:
I knew something was gonna happen, so I wasn't really caught off-guard. I didn't expect it to be Beth though.. Weirdly, my first reaction was: Oh! Luckily it wasn't Daryl or Carol (how awful that may sound). It did have an emotional impact though. The last scene was so sad.

Timo, You're so mean!
It's so weird how the show has been on for 4 years; and yet the TV show timeline says they're only on day ~514. Can't imagine going through ALL OF THAT in a year and 1/3.

Re: The Walking Dead
Whaaaat? That's nuts, especially because we've practically watched Carl grow up.
So this means that the events in the show have only happened over about 16 months. Assuming ~9 months for the pregnancy and giving Rick a few weeks to find and knock up his wife, that baby is only like 4 months old?
Wait wait wait...so this means that Beth, who was 16 when they met on the farm is only like 17 when late 30s/early 40s Daryl is looking at her.
I always wondered how they would still be able to find canned food on a regular basis 5 years later...

Re: The Walking Dead
Yeah I know it's crazy. Apart from Carl, though, everyone else on the show doesn't look a year older. So it's believable in that respect. And yes that's true about Beth and Daryl. But I still don't think it's a sexual thing. Judith is actually about ~6 months old. Day ~311 is when she was born and it's day ~514.Fish Tacos wrote:Whaaaat? I kind of wish it was Carol, if I'm honest. For whatever reason, I'm not as smitten with her character as most fans seem to be. Maybe it's the hair - lol.

Re: The Walking Dead
Kinda spoiler:
I think she's the most interesting character in the entire show. She made so much progress since the season 1. Her actions at the beginning of this season were so badass..

People usually read the post before they read the title

Re: The Walking Dead
Why would anyone do that!?
I told someone once that Harry Potter died before they reached the end of the book. It was epic.

Re: The Walking Dead
I just had a brilliant idea for a discussion forum specifically built for TV show discussion. Users would be able to select the latest episode they've seen, and then each of their posts would be tagged with that episode number. When browsing the forum, they would only see posts by people who had only seen up to that episode at the time. Make sense?
I'm going to be rich.

In response to the subject title; You just said yourself that the writers are heartless bastards; that's why. But in all honesty; even though we're all devastated by her death; will we really miss her character? I'm not too sure yet. Guess I'll find out in Feb.

Re: The Walking Dead
Honestly, the only reason I started to get invested into her character was because she started to mean something to Daryl. Now he's gonna have to hook up with Carol I guess

Did you guys see the latest episode with [Scott Stapp playing an undead car-less assassin that is trying to write his first fiction novel on Bob's leg?]
Too soon?
