2014 NFL Thread
2014 NFL Thread
Starting this now since the 1st round of the draft is tonight. If anyone wants to talk about the draft feel free. Hoping Green Bay takes either Mosley, Shazier, HaHa Clinton-Dix, or Calvin Pryor. I'll be back later tonight to let everyone know if the Packers' pick made me cry or not.

Re: 2014 NFL Thread
I actually haven't done fantasy before. I might be interested in trying it this year though.

Re: 2014 NFL Thread
I'm in on the fantasy league idea! Did it once in High School but haven't done it since.
Re: 2014 NFL Thread
we've had ABB/TABN leagues for ages, though last year we didn't..

Re: 2014 NFL Thread
So glad my Buffalo Bills gave up so much for Sammy Watkins. (end sarcasm)
Re: 2014 NFL Thread
Sammy Watkins is a stud, and that was the only possible way they could get him because Cleveland was surely gonna do it. I'd be happy with it. I know giving up a 1st round pick next year is tough, but Watkins is probably the 2nd best player in the draft

Odell Beckham's interview after he got drafted:
"I just gotta take my hat off and thank god."
Doesn't take hat off.

Re: 2014 NFL Thread
If the cowboys draft manziel i will highly consider boycotting them. We have the worst defense in nfl history. The last thing we need to do is draft an undersized quarterback just for the attention. Jerry Jones always makes incredibly stupid picks, so thats why im so worried. I honestly think its a strong possibility that we, for some reason, draft him despite our defense being DEAD LAST in the league last year
Re: 2014 NFL Thread
Good pick for Green Bay. Safety was our worst position last year, and Ha Ha has potential to be a stud. Happy with this pick.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Johnny Manziel went to the Browns

But seriously he is a piece of shit.

Re: 2014 NFL Thread
He'll be better than Bortles, but Carr will be the best of the class.
I will look back at the above statement one day as either the smartest or dumbest thing I've ever said.

Re: 2014 NFL Thread
I have mixed feelings on Bridgewater. Not huge on his velocity. Doesn't quite have the zip on the ball that Carr and Bortles have.

Re: 2014 NFL Thread
Would be a cool story if Derek Carr goes to Houston with the first pick tomorrow night.

Re: 2014 NFL Thread
Only problem with all of this, you have to have a quarterback to throw to him. We already have decent receivers, we have a CRAP defense and a shoddy O-line. I would much rather trade watkins off for Ryan Nassib and some picks.AB23 wrote:Sammy Watkins is a stud, and that was the only possible way they could get him because Cleveland was surely gonna do it. Re: 2014 NFL Thread
Giving this thread a bump. I believe all 32 teams have started training camp by now. What all teams are we representing here for those of you who may not have been active during previous years?
