But I could see teachers using it and for presentations. My doctor had one last year... I saw him a few days ago and he's using a Macbook Air now.

I like mine to read, to watch movies, and especially for vacation. The only way I would buy an iPad is if they introduced more laptop like features like USB ports, true multi-tasking, etc. - I get 80% to 90% of tablet features out of my iPhone & I would rather watch movies/other media on my huge HDtv or computer monitor.
