Been listening this song on repeat for a good while. I don't know why I overlooked it during the time I just began getting into these guys.

All right, let's see how this goes. Not really too familiar or interested of new material from the Big Four of Thrash Metal (aside from Metallica, but they are never going to release another new album anyways, maybe), but I'm at a stage where I may be convinced differently, so here we go.

Megadeth's Dystopia album. The 3rd album released in 2016 that I have listened to.

How did you like it? I'm not the biggest Megadeth fan (though I really like some of the earlier stuff) but I found myself enjoying this album more than I thought I would, especially the instruments.

Quite frankly, to me, it was just there. Yeah, the instruments sounded cool and all, but I couldn't get into the overall theme or Dave Mustaine's voice. Honestly, I couldn't pick any songs from it where I could say, "That song is cool to me, let me blast that on repeat." From the looks of it from observations from other forums/comment sections, mine seems to be a minority opinion, but as I stated before, I'm not really too keen or interested of that style anyway, so yeah.

Yea, I wasn't too big on the voice and the lyrics either. Thought it was a bit silly at times, but instrumentally it definitely was a lot better than Super Collider. Won't be listening to it a lot though.

I really like that one. The end of that album is pretty diverse and really stands out to me. Just when you think you figured out the band, they hit you with Tired of the Rain, Drive, and Rollin' On. Amazing album from start to finish.

But what am I listening to tonight? That would be Paul Gilbert! His new album seems to be slowly leaking on YouTube. Surprised it took so long for anything to be posted as it was released in Japan on December 23rd. Still no idea when the US release date is. But I love this one! Here is "Everybody Use Your Goddamn Turn Signal" :D

Cold. The band that released Year of the Spider? I like those guys. Ocean is one of my favorite post metal songs.

Well, bought the album. Let's see how this goes. It's a super duper long album. The longest I'm going to hear ever clocking at over two hours, but I've been looking forward to this.

Dream Theater's The Astonishing album. The 4th album released in 2016 that I have listened to.

Daughtry - Over You

It's a funny thing about music sometimes. I first heard this song about maybe, eight years ago, it didn't really mean all that much to me back then though I knew it was a great song. Nowadays, this song holds true for a lot of things about life for me and that's when I think "Oh, this song really puts things in perspective now" and I can really relate to it, because I feel like things have gotten a lot better and I can properly move on regarding certain aspects of life.
