David Bowie's Blackstar album. The 1st album released in 2016 that I have listened to.

The new album listening thingamabob continues on with this album. I read a review from a guy that listens to hundreds of newly released albums a year at the Dream Theater Forums and he seems to really like it so here we are. There's some familiar guys that played a role in this album. One of them is someone we all know here from a certain band that's about to record hopefully by the end of the month.

Walking With Giants' World Unknown album. The 2nd album released in 2016 that I have listened to.

Austin! I agree Spencers vocals are awesome on the song! But the instrumentation is the main musical turn on for me! The riff that starts around 1:30 is neck breaking!

I decided to listen to Halestorm's "Into the Wildlife" all the way through. I like it for the most part. "I Like it Heavy" is by far my favorite track. A lot of the album it is very over-produced though.

Yeah definitely. I don't know what it is but it simply feels good to listen to it. They didn't over-do it and I feel like I really heard the message they were trying to get across. And yes, you can't go wrong with those musicians! I'll have to go back and listen to their EP's as well.
