When it comes to the last few episodes, I guess spoiler protection is still in order. You can't expect GoT to be so important in everyone's lives that they are all caught up on it, but maybe they still don't want any spoilers :D
I was behind one day, one fucking day on Battle of the Bastards and still got spoiled the second I went on to Facebook.
Sooo... just in case.

Discussion
I've got a funny feeling Cersei & The Mountain are going to mutate Unella.. I've rewatched this scene several times and can't help but think it. She'd make a monstrous female warrior, much like Brienne..

Question for those that finished S6

Do you feel that the High Sparrow sold out his belief system in order to acquire King Tommen and establish the 2 pillars formally within the kingdom? He seemed willing to die for his beliefs and he even cut up Queen Margaery's cousin but I got the impression he was giving her a free pass in order to get the rest of the kingdom under his religion in one move.

I think he was killed off too swiftly in way for us to know his real motivations. I think Margaery played him well - yes, he probably knew that Margaery becoming little queen perfect was a ruse, but he did accept it to get more influence in the kingdom (and also he is a man of the faith and in order to keep that image he must believe that people are able to truly repent). She knew that it would work, and he knew that it would work - they just didn't count on Cersei going all Mad Queen on them. By the way the kingdom already believes in the Seven, so it wasn't so much "getting people under his religion" as "trying to gain the highest power". But who knows, maybe he thought that having highest power was necessary in order to purge all disbelievers and sinners, and it was just an afterthought for him. At least that's my thoughts on it.

There's just so much to cover in 60 hours of television that it would be pretty hard to cover my thoughts on all of it, but to summarize I liked the show. Don't think I'll ever re-watch it. Most likely just continue on with the seasons as they air. Wish there was more of Jons time at Castle Black when he was there, but now he's not so yeah....But between him and Danny's rise to power, those were the only two storylines I really even cared for or wanted to see more of after The Red Wedding; which is still my most hated event in the shows history.

Really? Those were the only 2 for you? I loved most of the storylines up through the end of S4, except for maybe Rob Stark's and Renley Baratheon's. Better than TWD right? ;)

Just for that, we're gonna kill Rickshone at the Red Wedding 2.0.

What would TWD Red Wedding even be? Trapping some of the good guys in a room full of Walkers or something? Or they arrive at another "safe place" only to get locked in the main room with the bad guy and his lackeys and slaughtered?

My spidey sense sensed someone mention GoT and TWD in the same sentence...

The last couple seasons of Game of Thrones have been pretty average, but the season finale was awesome and really reinvigorated my interest in the show. Hopefully next season is interesting and not just more of people travelling to different destinations.

Just saw today that the show isn't going to start filming until later in the year. The result is that the 2017 season will probably debut in July or later, rather than in April as usual.

I really think they're just trolling all of us. They go into production meetings and they just laugh their asses off making up ways that they're gonna string us along.

Kinda bummed that Euron got such a shitty introduction last season. Though nowhere near close to the madness that is book-Euron, the show's doing him justice now.
