I've just gotten back from the most knackering and intense work experience of my life. Me, a small town lad from the UK, ran my company's exhibition at a very big Las Vegas trade show. Aside from that stress, though, I managed to complete a small dream of mine and took a day to rent massive Harleys with a couple of buddies and rode out to the Grand Canyon.
I did get COVID on the way back and had to set up another show in the UK that week but still. That Harley bit of the trip was awesome fun. Sunset, mountains, desert, the highway, AB on the stereo.... the American dream.
Sounds like a really fun trip. Grand Canyon is really a great place. I hiked down it for about 3 miles back in 2020, and then my parents went back last October to hike to Phantom Ranch and back (18 miles). Here's the video they made about it.

That's awesome man! Good for you for taking advantage of the opportunity! In a great way too! If you ever get back to the area, I always recommend hiking through Bryce Canyon, went years ago and would love to go back.
Greg - sorry to hear about the health scare! Hope things are going well!

Hi.
May I ask why people join fan clubs? Like the linkin park fan club for instance? What do people get out of it? Occasional deals on tickets or merch or something?

I honestly don't understand this either. I mean, I'm part of Volbeat's fan club Rebels & Angels, but that's free to join and you get access to half the stuff on their website, such as news from them and setlists for each show. The latter is one I consider to be particularly handy as their setlists aren't always updated on setlist.fm.

I subscribe to the Iron Maiden fan club because they select their First to the Barrier pre-entry guests from there. Paid off when I saw them in San Diego a year ago and was among the first 50 into the venue.

Thought I would share this! I donated… fingers crossed… it would be the best BDAY ever!!!
The money goes to Metallica’s Charity.
The charity “All Within My Hands” does beautiful things for people!

At the Wiltern for Thrice. I’m keeping my at least one concert a month streak alive going back to August 2021

Not sure who needs to know this, but I saw a nice pair of partially exposed boobs at open mic last night.

We do. We just don't like others seeing them instead of us
