Christine Ohurugorogrogugorugoo's fake smile for winning SILVER at the OLYMPICS because she expected to win Gold, is pissing me off. Yeah you won 4 years ago, but that was then.

I like it when the British athletes want the gold so much they look peeved with silver, it's why the rowers and cyclists are the best in the world, need more of it throughout the team.

Bolt is just as dominant on a running track as Phelps was in a pool, heroic bloke.

Also Ben Ainslie - four golds at the last four Olympics, immense.
For all of the hope that it brings...

I love that so many of our athletes have been labeled "the best ever" at many of the sports!

Me not watching wouldn't make it less disrespectful...

And I'm not in Holland.. I'm in the Netherlands. Holland is a small part of the Netherlands where a lot of stuck up ppl live. I think you might like it there...

It's all Dutch to me.

Speaking of, I just spent a week in the Dutch Antilles. Nice people there. Tall, too. Also, I can now say "speed bumps" in 4 languages. Which is nice.

I think ax needs to take a long HARD look in the giant mirror over there in HOLLAND.

I challenge you, to go to every country during the Olympics and see how many commentate over other nations national anthems to their own..

And you kept talking over Alter Bridge playing at Wembley, speaking of disrespect.

Anyway... Team GB are dominating!!!!! More medals today, we aimed for 4th in the rankings so we're blowing that out straight away. Really proud to be BRITISH for once, not just English; which i normally say i am.

Team GB aimed for 48 medals of any kind, and they already have 40, with 10 or so medal hopes still to come. It's been an epic games for us so far, as well as a great advert to the world. Add in the fact I live in Argentina, where they currently have just one bronze medal in tennis, and things are ever more epic :cheers

Netherlands aim to be top10

we have some gold chances today (Epke Zonderland - gymnastics, equestry team dressage) and one certain gold (Dorian van Rijsselberghe - Sailing RS:X) he already had enough points to be champion after race 9.. so he DNF race 10 and only needs to appear at the start of the medal race.. complete domination, worst result 3rd place, won 6 out of the 9!

We've actually matched the target now for certain, four bronzes at least to come in boxing and some more guaranteed in sailing, without even including the cycling likelihoods tonight. Awesome job by the athletes, swimming's the only area that's disappointed really.

lol @ benjamin.. u know what i mean :P southern hospitality (brabantse gezeligheid) opposed to .. yeah well.. holland :P

For ppl from holland, holland is the country.. they dont care for anything outside of it and refer to the rest of the country as the "province"...

im always happy to get back south of the rivers! :cheers

yea i know what you mean haha, never been to brabant much myself, though the people i've met from there are indeed very kind.
i don't really keep myself busy with all the provinces and what kind of people live there though, everywhere you go you have people who are nice and people who aren't :shrug
