The all caps thing is true on Google Play Music as well. I suppose they're stylized that way, to help push the "ATTENTION ATTENTION" thing. The album description says "Attention Attention is the sixth studio album by American rock band Shinedown. It is scheduled for release on May 4, 2018. It is a concept album, dealing with depicting a human overcoming their negativity through personal struggles to be reborn as a new person."
Re: What are you listening to right now?
I really like most of it.
Shinedown - Black Soul

Stop what you are doing and listen to this...
Todd La Torre - Barracuda
This is a cover compilation put out by RatPak Records. Todd is the singer for Queensrÿche and he absolutely kills this. He also did a cover of Deep Purple's Burn with Michael Angelo Batio and some fellow named Mark Tremonti that is on this album, too.

Tremonti - The Cage
Lyrics are definitely resonating on this track. Not necessarily towards me but with people in my life who constantly are seeking out ways to play the victim. Interesting stuff.

The lead singer of this band has been missing now for about 22 hours, after posting a couple of worrying messages on Twitter Listening to their tunes, keeping my fingers crossed that he turns up safe soon

They're one of my favourite bands. Seeing them live at the Roundhouse in London back in 2016 was such a great occasion! (apologies for the double-post)

Sevendust's All I See is War album. The 12th album released in 2018 that I have listened to.
Let's get to it.
Edit: Five songs in. I dig it so far. How in the world has AB and Sevendust only done one tour together (back in 2008, I think?)? It feels like they should do more tours together. I'll accept Tremonti and Sevendust as well as a combo.

Bad Wolves' Disobey album. The 13th album released in 2018 that I have listened to.
So these guys have been making some noise on active rock radio with their cover of the Cranberries' Zombie getting a lot of play which I admit I like it a fair amount when it comes on radio. That stated, I get the feeling that if Theory of a Deadman is Nickelback-lite, then Bad Wolves will be Five Finger Death Punch-lite due to the fact that their manager is FFDP guitarist, Zoltan Bathory and that Bad Wolves' lead singer filled in for FFDP during their summer Europe tour last year due to Ivan Moody dealing with his personal issues. I still hope for the best for them and I hope they made a good album with some songs I can enjoy.
Edit: Hours later.
Mike Shinoda - Crossing A Line

I've heard Bad Wolves and that stuff is better than anything 5FDP put out in the past few years.
Thanks Timo!

Five Finger Death Punch's And Justice For None album. The 14th album released in 2018 that I have listened to.
God help us all. Out of the 13 songs, 12 songs has the explicit tag on Spotify. The non-explicit tag song is their cover the Offspring's Gone Away. That cover is also the longest song of the album clocking at 4:35.

Nothing More - Fade In/Fade Out. Powerful song about growing old and the relationship between father and son.

A damn good one at that, “I have watched you fade in, you will watch me fade out.”JPSCHULZ82 wrote:Nothing More - Fade In/Fade Out. Powerful song about growing old and the relationship between father and son.
