That's correct. For compositional reasons this particular work omits a band member. The overall mood or atmosphere was a much greater priority for me.
As far as Mark Tremonti's response is concerned, having seen a photograph of the work he Tweeted me to say that he "loved" the painting. On receipt of the actual work he Tweeted me to say that it is "beautiful".
So I guess for Mark Tremonti, art does not have to be biographically accurate...it just has to work as a piece of art.
(By the way, sorry for the delay in replying.....been in a very remote part of Scotland for a week's landscape painting)
