The Soundwave Festival tour this year once again kicked off in Brisbane, Australia. AB got a set that was fairly low down on the bill of the main stage, sandwiched between Biffy Clyro and Richie Sambora.

I've seen AB a few times. This was probably the first time I could stand back and say "what was that?!"

Where was the energy? Where was the performance and passion? I felt the set was very poorly chosen, but perhaps could be viewed as a reflection of the band's state at the time. Lack-lustre. Going for the singles mostly rather than the hard and fast as they should. Generally, all-round a bit of a disappointment. I hope that they were better in Sydney and at their additional headline shows with Living Color etc.

its sad man. But they did add Isolation to the setlist after this show.. White Knuckles and Come to Life can be easily replaced by better hard riffing songs (newer songs)
