HOB Dallas 4/14

Post by AB23 »

There already is one for the concert in Atlanta, so I thought I'd make one about the concert in Dallas. At the House of Blues right in the heart of downtown. Its a beautiful venue, and definitely an upgrade from where they played last time they were in town. This is the first show of the tour, and Dallas never disappoints! My friend and I are going, let me know if you are

Beautiful venue. Looks unique but very "Upper Class". The venue in Atlanta kind of looks similar but I notice that these venues do a lot more than music (Theater, entertainment, ect). So regarding sound I hope its good

AB has played here before back in 04. They have rock concerts here all the time. I've seen multiple bands play here, and its incredible. Much better than the last club they played at

It looks like a balcony seat would be amazing.

I just have a hunch they'll break out a good setlist for the beginning of their us tour

Agreed^ They usually ease into the set lists over the course of a tour. Expect the usual.

I'm going to this show, and I expect a VERY heavy Blackbird set.

I'm just thinking that somewhere in the show they'll say "Ya know, being back in the states for the first time, we're gonna do something very special for you all this evening." I picture Myles saying that

I don't think its totally out of the question. I was one of the guys during the European tour that was level headed about their set, so me saying that I think that they'll break out something new for holding the US out for so long isn't crazy at all. In fact, I expect it. I won't be disappointed at all because I'm always happy to see the guys perform, but if I was to put money on it I would say that we would hear something new in Dallas

I'm trying to remember what's left. Peace Is Broken, All Ends Well...anything else? There's some others they didn't play much though like Bleed It Dry.

They have the option to go ahead and dig through their other parts of their catalog for songs that rarely get played. Down to My Last, Shed My Skin, Wayward One, or One By One (I know you would love to hear that one, AB23.) amongst others.

If they played one by one I wouldn't care if they walked off stage right after. I'm gonna find a reason to tweet michael right around the date about one by one meaning a lot to me and asking if they can possibly squeeze it in and maybe they will
