Yeah, I'm salivating at how much of the new album we could get here in the states. Glad you had a great time, Timo.

This is pretty much flawless. Got the exact same lyric wrong as Paris though :lol

But... Holy shit! That was fucking awesome. :D Calm The Fire sounds beastly live, Bleed It Dry as well! We need more Fortress tunes live! :headbang

I'm pretty sure one of those arms going into the air on the left of Myles during the second part of the intro ("there are places we should never go") is me :D

I feel foolish that I doubted the guys. :) I'm still hoping they balance things out a little more setlist-wise, but they seem to be working on that now!

you tour an album called Fortress and not play the title track?
All I could think of when I read this was "aw, muffin!" I really don't have sympathy for you. Some people aren't able to see the band for a variety of reasons (location, can't afford tickets, can't afford to travel), and here you are complaining because you got to see them and they didn't play the songs you wanted them to. You got to see your favourite (or one of them) band play live, which is a luxury that some don't have.

People are always so negative.

I have to agree with Inconquerable here.
They will do more songs from Fortress, in time... See how they started adding more from it? They're gonna keep 'em coming. Relax.

Well, I still think it's a very safe way of doing it and I feel bad for the UK for missing out on the tracks I heard last night. But yea, she was right! I'm gonna keep her quote in my sig in honor of her wisdom! ;)

Hey....told you they'd play the other songs :P

That Calm The Fire video was superb!!! Fantastic performance! Really excited for the Fortress stuff in the box set. I'm thinking some of these performances will be in there.

I bloody love the stage set-up on this tour. It's just very simple but classy, with no gimmicks.

Awesome rendition of CTF too - there was a section of that performance where I honestly thought I was listening to the album version, perfect.

Yea, I chickened out :lol

I forgot to mention this. There was something incredibly off during Isolation. It sounded like Myles' higher strings were in the wrong tuning, and as if they were changing between keys all the time. This made it incredibly hard to sing along, lol.

Woah these mainland Europe vids are amazing. The UK got stiffed big time :lol It was a paid rehearsal.

Bleed It Dry & Calm The Fire sound frigging awesome and they seem really enthused playing these songs. Really happy to see Waters Rising restored to it's awesome Creed like guitar intro too. Mark sounds amazing on the mic.

I love that Mark is finally filling in on some harmonies/overdubs too. If they keep this standard up for the next time they come UK way I'm fucking there.

One of the best gigs I've been to. The set list was great, crowd were great and the band was great. They all looked like they were really, really enjoying it. I know I did!

Hats off to hailstorm too. They got the crowd going in the first place.
