Re: Pawns & Kings (Alter Bridge - VII)

“At this point, Myles loves playing guitar solos, and I love singing,” he continued. “So we like to do each other's roles, because I think he doesn't feel the pressure as a guitar player because he's known as a singer; I don't feel the pressure as a singer because I'm known as a guitar player. So w...

Re: Pawns & Kings (Alter Bridge - VII)

All sounds pretty similar to when they were releasing WTS to me (Myles being the one with the heavy riffs, and Elvis' being excited if I remember correctly). Only difference is that I feel like there were more indications on what it was going to sound like (synth/keyboard sounds and John Carpenter ...

That's a relief. I hope they go with something different for the album cover.

Love these videos. Does anyone know if there is a full show video available from the Wolfie era of Tremonti?

Re: Creed Back Together Soon !!!!

Hey let me know if this is allowed or not, discussion wise. Were Tremonti and Stapp ever friends? I guess I never really thought about it. Maybe they were at first or maybe they were only a little bit, or maybe they were always just band mates and thats it? They were definitely friends at the begin...

You can move on without Mark making a blanket statement about never playing in Creed again. You'll just be pleasantly surprised if it does happen one day.

If Tim Tournier still reads this thread, any chance we can get a little update or even just a nugget of info about a song or two? Appreciate all you do Tim.

I had a dream last night that the first single from Pawns & Kings was called "Love Walked In And Said Hello." It had a doo-woop vibe. Maybe it was a vision of the future?

Re: Alter Bridge - VII

Something that just occurred to me in light of what we've been discussing in this and a few other threads, is if we could only get an 4-5 song EP, unrelated to any of the albums, produced by somebody else where those guys could branch out a bit and not think of anything they've ever done, just go f...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

I think Creed is both of the guys. Which is why I'm glad neither of them has tried the guns n roses route. Stapp basically does. Most of his promotional material prominently refers to him as "the voice of Creed" and his setlist is mostly Creed songs. He seems well aware that people don't ...

Interested to hear what it is. I assume it'll be a Sinatra cover based on what Mark has said about singing Sinatra at karaoke but maybe it'll be something unexpected.

My understanding is there is a full version that was recorded. This is an edited down promo clip. At least that's what I gather from what was said on MyGNR forum.

SMKC Rocket Man cover

Myles sounds great. Whoever produced this needs to do AB and solo records.

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

I liked the documentary more than you guys. I do disagree with the focus on guys grabbing women's breasts and stuff like that, some of those women walking around naked all day didn't seem to mind. But I think it was right to include the douchebags who tried to destroy the place and set fire to every...

Re: New Slash/MK Album On The Way

Was wondering what that would mean for AB7 but realised it's basically pointless trying to predict how all their shit fits together these days. Probably doesn't have an impact on AB. I think the SMKC records have always been released on a different label than AB's, even though they both typically u...

The album artwork and track listing is cool news, but honestly I'm more excited about hopefully getting news soon about his secret project for charity, where he's singing without a guitar with the "original musicians from where this came from."

Re: Tremonti V...

Michael is such a tease on Instagram. He posted a pic of Mark with the caption "top secret things are afoot in the Tremonti world. Amazing things! I'm sworn to secrecy 🤐" What could that be? 🤔👀😂 Interesting. "Top secret" and "amazing" would be pretty hyperbolic languag...
