Re: What are you listening to right now?

Poets of the Fall's Carnival of Rust album. They took part of a performance in the Game Awards yesterday where they played a song they made for the Alan Wake 2 game and the presentation looked really good with the chorography and stuff. Would be something if they can ride the buzz off of that perfor...

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

Well, Myles made a guest appearance of Mammoth WVH's show in Spokane. Per Setlist.fm, they did a cover of Them Bones.

Re: Creed Back Together Soon !!!!

I have listened to My Own Prison and Full Circle in full, but I think if I have the enthusiasm to listen to the other two albums, I may like Weathered the most if the songs are on par with Bullets, One Last Breath, and My Sacrifice. So yeah, seems like Creed is doing yet another reunion. I'm torn. W...

Re: Creed Back Together Soon !!!!

I don't know where else to post it since there isn't a "The Random Creed Thread" and I don't know if I want to start that thread, but it's nice to see someone outright admits that they like Creed and interviewers may sneer at that notion, but the person gives their reasoning why they like ...

Re: Summer 2024 Tour and Summer of '99 and Beyond festival

https://creed.com/products/creed-greatest-halftime-show-tee-preorder ^This is amazing! The marketing and PR team are killing it right now! I’m shocked at how good the promotion has been for this reunion. I kinda got used to the less than stellar marketing for AB. The difference is night and day. Li...

Re: Mark Tremonti Sings Frank Sinatra

^^ This whole AI thing is a horrible mistake. They might as well get this over with and get a mix of Myles singing a Creed song and cause a civil war here.

^^ Out of curiosity, on the albums before Full Circle, did they have something like that along the lines of A Thousand Faces with Mark providing those kinds of backup vocals?

Re: November South American Tour 2023

https://youtu.be/VWYwB1D-mcg This was so cool, they were re-learning how to play Lover on stage. Interesting that Myles said they haven't played Lover in years. The last time they played Lover was last year. I was there when they played it acoustically at the Pawns & Kings Listening Party.

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

^^ I get your point on jumping on the brand drinks bandwagon, but I was just using that as an example of bands collabing with someone outside of the box on the merch end. I do want AB to jump onto the hockey jersey bandwagon gimmick though. It just seems like every other month or so, Puck Hcky relea...

All right, first show of the final stand for AB, as far as we know right now. They are in Brazil. Hope for a good one for these fans that's waiting a long time to see them as they are.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

I don't know why, but I've been getting a kick out of listening to the theme song to the original Iron Chef show in Japan. Apparently, this song was from a Hans Zimmer track called Show Me Your Firetruck from the movie Backdraft. Sadly, when there's a Youtube channel that's given the ok to release o...

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

^^ Now I don't know if they have the opportunities or options to collaborate with other companies to do stuff. Like they did a Halloween based comic book a few years back (in which I don't know what the content of the book contains). I just think look at their contemporaries. Bands like Shinedown, H...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

This popped up on my radar.

Apparently, while on tour with Theory of a Deadman and Saint Asonia, Skillet has done a live version of Finish Line with Adam Gontier.

Re: Summer 2024 Tour and Summer of '99 and Beyond festival

^^ That sounds like a neat idea. Can't they just do a cover of something like Hunger Strike instead over any possible future new material? Like any of that suggestion you state and my brain, (and I apologize for this, but that's how it's wired nowadays), goes, "Can we just have AB by itself? It...

Re: Summer 2024 Tour and Summer of '99 and Beyond festival

And yes, while I don't really like Puddle of Mud aside from 1 or 2 songs, obviously they've had more influence than Alter Bridge. That's got nothing to do with Stapp and is absolutely objective. I don't think Puddle of Mudd has more influence over AB nowadays and even so, how does influence transla...

Re: Summer 2024 Tour and Summer of '99 and Beyond festival

^^ I don't think it's as ridiculous that one likes one band and doesn't like the other. In the Dream Theater forum I go to, they talk about AB often in their music section and there's one guy that admits that he likes it when Myles is with Slash over anything he does in AB or solo. I just wish we co...

Re: Summer 2024 Tour and Summer of '99 and Beyond festival

Am I being a poor sport? If so, I want to apologize for that. Do people want to apologize when it was the opposite when AB fans were happy about stuff and a few people were trying to ruin the buzz due to the usual reasons? I want to be happy that everyone in Creed is trying to make an effort in maki...

Re: Summer 2024 Tour and Summer of '99 and Beyond festival

All right, I took a look at the Lawn Seats for the San Bernardino show. $54.00 which seems fine for a 6 band festival bill, but holy fudge man, Ticketmaster's fees is $26.00 of that. That kinda a deal-breaker paying those fees to them. This is also a deal-breaker. "Starting in 2024 outside Lawn...
