Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
Does anyone remember that guy that was doing youtube covers of ODR songs with an acoustic guitar and only had 3 fingers on his fret hand? It was a hot mess that sounds nothing like the songs, literally just playing randomness that wasn't even consistent the next verse but he'd always reply to the c...

Re: The Official LACEY STURM Thread
I got to see Lacey play at Rock on the Range today, and her band put on a really good show. Lacey's voice sounded really good, and the set had a good mix of songs from her solo album plus a handful of Flyleaf songs. Loved getting to hear All Around Me and I'm So Sick. I met Lacey after her set and ...

Re: Possible Instrumental?
I'd like Mark to sing lead or mostly lead on another AB song. I mean, Waters Rising felt more like a Tremonti song and I think it would be cool to actually have more of an AB sounding song that Tremonti sang lead (or mostly lead) on.

Re: The Movie Thread
The prequels get a bad rap (and some of it's well deserved), but I think Episode 3 is pretty underrated. Anakin/Obi-Wan vs. Dooku, Obi-Wan vs. Grievous, Yoda vs. Sidious, Anakin vs. Obi-Wan...lots of good lightsaber duals in that one. "From my POV the jedi are evil!" Dumbest line ever. Me...

---I just finished Requiem for a Dream.
Damn, what a depressing movie.
The opening credits scene I thought was great cuz it was really building up to something that would happen later. Plus, the soundtrack was well done.

Here's a quote from a recent Mark interview: We don't sing love songs, y'know? A lot of pop artists write all their ballads about love songs and we don't do that - it's more about loss or something that's gone on in your life that's hurt you in the past, a lot of it's getting stuff off your chest. ...

I honestly don't get what people like about rap and hip hop. Majority of the time, the lyrics make absolutely no sense. Just baffles me. ------I'm not a huge rap fan but rap music is alright. -----One thing I like about rap is that it's easier i think, to make the lyrics intellectual. If I was to s...
