I'll admit, they are kind of a guilty pleasure band for me. I like Semi-Charmed life because if you really listen to the lyrics, it's kind of dark. A stark contrast to the way thy are singing and playing it. Cool, I think.

I like a few of their other songs, but I wouldn't say I follow them.

And what may I ask is wrong with Gibsons? My all time favorite guitarist played Les Pauls and Thunderbirds all the time. Great tone. Not trying to start something, just want your opinion.

I watched Poltergeist for the first time the other day. A really good film. And creepy when you consider the history of the cast.

I can't say I totally agree with that. I saw them live in 2009 and even though he was heavier, they kicked so much ass. Of course, the set was a little heavier (or less radio friendly if you will) so that may have something to do w/it.

Maybe that's what they meant by "cerebral." More like "progressive" me hopes.
