Re: Late to the party - Cry of Achilles Video

At this point of the band's career, I'm starting to sense that they believe they're about as popular as they're going to get. I kinda get the same impression, but they are pretty big in the UK. Not sure if it's to the same degree of popularity Creed was in America...The live action videos they do a...

Sounds like some more DRM bullshit.

It grinds my gears when folks pride themselves on not giving a fk or being apathetic. The lady doth protest too much.

The Walking Dead

Anybody else staying current with the show? **S05 E03 Spoilers** Can someone explain to me why Tyrese was sulking so much saying that his arrival at Terminus 'killed him' when he was talking to Rick (digging graves scene)? In Ep 3 we just saw that Martin hadn't been killed, Tyrese had just beaten on...

I hear what you're referring to but it's a string getting continually plucked. If you watch somebody do a guitar cover of the song and it's more apparent.

I don't know if he changed that a bit or he just found girls who found that adorable and cute. :D I feel like that isn't most women. Women generally don't want someone who is overly nice. Some guys fall all over the girl saying things like 'is this ok? I don't want you to be uncomfortable' or apolo...

Re: Fortress - The Sound & The Story DVD (fret 12)

After watching through the DVD some more, I hate how many out of focus shots there are after some of the transitions. I think they did it on purpose for the effect during the instrumental portions but I don't like it. Makes me feel like I got instant glaucoma...

Re: The Official ''Favorite TV Show'' Thread

I feel kinda bad but I felt the same way. Maybe it's because walkers seem so easy now (although stabbing someone through the skull they always do is near impossible unless the head has nowhere else to go) but when he gunned them all down from behind I was like HFS that was awesome! Anybody else noti...

Re: Video Game Bonanza!

Yeah, I mean I get WHY they did invulnerable to ranged but it gets a bit silly when you forget in a battle and you try to shoot him in the face or pin his foot to the ground when he runs and the arrow just bounces off of him. The game got a little more interesting in the second region, because I act...

Re: The Movie Thread

Daniel Craig FTW. They did with Daniel what they did with Bale in the Batman series. Once you add a level of realism, it always makes the stories so much better for me. Saw Dracula last night, it was pretty decent but needed better character development on both the original Dracula's side as well as...

Re: Video Game Bonanza!

I just beat Shadow of Mordor today and all I have left now to do is the red-outlined missions. Everything else on the map is clear. This game does not have enough activities. DLC hurry up! **SPOILERS** Were you disappointed with the ending? Not so much plotwise, but when I finally got to The Tower,...

Re: Video Game Bonanza!

In that case I would recommend you wait for Redbox or a discount copy, there's significantly less missions per tower area (equivalent of synchronization points in AC) and some of them you just don't bother going to because they're not really missions so much as observation events. There are also sig...

Re: Video Game Bonanza!

Let me think. I put a Friday night into it, and good portion of Sunday, and last night. I'd say I'm prob 15-20 hrs in and that's the 60% mark from what I've read since I've just acquired the ability to Brand orcs. I've been completing a bunch of the weapon missions to get upgrades though so if you s...

Re: Video Game Bonanza!

Hmmmm weird. You use their intel against them for strengths/weaknesses? Couple things might help: - Make sure you have the rune equipped that lets you recover health during a 'last stand' or whatever it's called. If you do get in a pinch, it lets you get enough health where you can run to a nearby p...

Re: Video Game Bonanza!

Bout 60% of the way through Shadow of Mordor. It's a very solid gameplay experience that fixes a lot of the gripes I've had with the Assassin's Creed series. It does a really good job at pacing out abilities to keep the combat somewhat fresh as you'll generally have something new you can try out wit...

Re: AB Rare Song Gig, Crowdfunded By Us. Setlist Made By Us.

Maybe even make it less ambitious, I like the idea of a live feed that would last 30-40 mins with just a handful of oldies and maybe one unreleased. Maybe put some fan vids at the beginning during the build up or an interview w/ Elvis or something. I'd love to see a live version of Shed my Skin that...
