Re: Creed V Wishlist
But as far as the music goes, I'd like Mark to go back to the Drop D a lot in stead of a half step down like he does live now. I know mark is a way better guitar player now than he was back then but I think the simple, rythm type stuff with catchy leads and intros really worked. The low, heavy Cree...

Re: Creed V Wishlist
I've listened to the two Creed demos for the first time in a couple of weeks, and boy oh boy, Stapp needs to work on his delivery. You could never tell he got his old voice back (he often sounds out of breath, and his throat gargle is really off-putting). The whole "Swallow my pride" song ...

Re: Creed V Wishlist
I've listed my wishes many times, but basically, I'd just love them to write an album that is in the same vein as the first three. That means going back to the former guitar settings (drop D), avoiding legato solos uptempo songs, and letting the songs breathe a little. I am not sure they are able to...

They need to write more non-conventional songs like this one.

I agree with Them Bones.
Stapp had such a commanding presence on stage back then. Just by looking at his body language, you could tell he had no doubt about his performance whatsoever. What an awesome frontman he was !

Re: What is your favorite AB album?
Lol the idea of Stapp singing any AB song gives me a headache. I'm not making this up Well “Before the Remains” that was our first record to get back out there [as Alter Bridge], and I think a lot of the songs were on the Creed backburner for a while – there were new songs written but some of them ...

Re: The 4th Album
TenaciousBe is right. We should stay in your place, and all these ideas we've thrown out at them should stay what they are : suggestions. But there seems to be more and more fans who are disappointed with AB's direction, and the band should at least take notice of a few suggestions. It doesn't mean ...

Re: What is your favorite AB album?
Watch your words is one of my favorites..... not trying to start anything here... but I think watch your words is a song that fits Creed perfectly.. Its the last song by Tremonti that I think sounds like the classic creed.. The song could have easily been on My Own Prison or Human Clay.... Good mid...

Re: The 4th Album
AB is not metal, but they think they are and are only trying too hard to prove it... Mark should stick to writing good songs and melodies like he used to... Simple or not, Mark had his own unique style of writing which I haven't really heard from him since after one day remains... More musical brea...

Re: Tremonti Project: Previews
The drums sound triggered, and I don't like that kind of sound at all.
Other than that, the riffs are alright (I also hear the Metallica similarity), but I wish mark had sung the last "I wish you... WELL" with more balls/agression. It could have sounded nasty !

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread
I'll probably be pre-ordering the book for my b-day. I'll put some money aside for his solo record and the next creed album. If either come out this year. Especially his solo album. Will it ever come out? At best, I'd say it would come out in late 2013, but I'm not sure Wind-up will ever agree to r...
