That is one the ugliest shapes I've ever seen for a guitar.

I really hope they lock it down in terms of sound bites, like they did with Fortress. I think it made for a much better listening experience when the full album came out.

I like Break Me Down more than half of the songs on Blackbird.

I'm cooling on Cauterize. While I think there are some great songs, I don't think it's a great overall album. Some of the ideas just feel a bit half-baked to me.

I get the feeling between Cauterize and Dust there'll be a solid 11 - 12 songs that would make one really high-quality record.

I would rather they push the music and have smaller live shows, but I'm biased because I never get to see them live so the music is much more important to me.

Went with Tie The Noose as well. That riff and groove is nasty.

Tie The Noose is one of the best riffs Mark has ever written. That's right, I said it.

I do remember him saying he was mostly a guitar player first and then became a vocalist because he was sick of dealing with the attitudes of different frontmen.
