Myles - Cleveland, OH - November 19, 2018

I managed to get a 3rd row spot just left of center in the GA pit (Myles' right). Nice and close, but, I was stuck behind a tall dude and his girlfriend stuck her phone up all the time. #shortpeopleproblems The opener, Walking Papers, was good, but, I got bored and restless, waiting for Myles. Myles...

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

Watched it last night, very good. The band and all involved should be proud. Myles sounded great. Before I watched with headphones, I couldn't hear Brian; I need the low end. I agree that the orchestra was not loud enough. I liked having the footage between songs as kind of a breather for this epic ...

Re: New Slash/MK Album On The Way

First listen all the way through: "My Antidote" is the weakest, IMO. I wasn't totally feeling "Lost Inside the Girl" on first listen, either. I'm a melody person first. "The Call of the Wild" and "Serve You Right" are great tracks to start with. "Serve Yo...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Here we go. Nickelback's Feed the Machine album. The 19th album released in 2017 that I have listened to. I actually have high hopes for this album and not dreading having to listen to a Nickelback album. I blasted one of their singles, Song on Fire, a lot and I really enjoyed that song which alrea...

Re: Soundgarden and Chris Cornell

It doesn't seem real. I became a big fan of Chris these last few years. Audioslave was part of my childhood.

Funny how Detroit was his last show. I wanted to go because it was closest to me besides Rock on the Range. Didn't make it happen.

So sad.

His music and legacy is eternal.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Nickelback - Song on Fire I mean it's a typical Nickelback ballad. Not much more I can say about that. Those that hate Nickelback, especially their ballads, won't like it, but I as a person that grew up on that sort of sound, it's pretty palatable to me. Edit: You know what? Screw it. I actually li...

Re: What music drives you nuts?

Most Christian/gospel music.
Bro/pop country that's popular now. No synths with my country, thank you. Having grown up on the artists from the 80s/90s/early 2000s, the crap that's out now makes me ill.
Some rap.
Metal bands that scream and I can't understand any of the lyrics.

Re: The Last Hero - AB Nation Discussion

"Cradle to the Grave" is just amazing. The chorus and the melody there, Myles' vocals. So good. It's probably my favorite track on the album. I also love the title track (it came on shuffle at the perfect time during my latest workout - love when that happens) and "Crows on a Wire.&qu...
