Re: Mark about a Creed reunion
I like some of the newer LInkin Park and Fuel stuff. When it comes to linkin park, I think it’s more about just having good songs. If they make a new album with great songs it wouldn’t matter what the genre was (whether it’s nu metal or pop or whatever). When it comes to the albums by Fuel and the m...

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread
This side of fate, dying light, last hero, symphony agony.
I would probably like those songs better if the lyrics weren’t so bland. Lyrics don’t have to be mind blowing but if they’re too vague I just can’t relate to them at all (this side of fate is blind, etc).
That’s why I like Godspeed so much.

Bros (and ladies), some of these Monster energy drinks are pretty good. Like the Watermelon one or the kiwi flavored one that comes in the green can.

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread
“ Many grown men with families do struggle having friendships. ” I agree with that to some extent. Although when it comes to myself, I’m somewhat introverted so I don’t necessarily have lots of energy to spend being around others. If I’m around people too much it can really drain my energy and I hav...

Re: Mark about a Creed reunion
“Stapp is a broken man who had to deal with abuse when he was a child, and on top of that, he became addicted to pills after his car accident. There are reasons that explain his past behaviour and meltdowns,” Total disagree here. I went through a lot of crap in my past. I never became an a-hole or a...

“ It was a bit sad hearing him say he had no male friends anymore.”
Dunno, once people have families it can be hard to keep in touch, and there just isn’t time for anything else anymore.
But I’m just speaking out loud here, lol.

Re: Pawns & Kings (Alter Bridge - VII)
“It’s over now, I’ve learned from my mistakes” —-Blackbird is definitely a good song. I will say however, when I need a song to listen to when I’m missing someone who passed on, I usually prefer In Loving Memory. ——-Fable has cool lyrics and a nice lyrical theme. Even if not everyone here loves the ...

Re: The Official Album Review Thread
Soundgarden’s 4th album, Superunknown is pretty solid top to bottom. Same with Vertical Horizon’s 3rd album, Hoobastank’s self-tilted album, and Matchbox 20’s debut album. Soundgarden’s 5th album, Down on the Upside is like half and half. Half the songs are great. Half are whatever. With Fiona Apple...

Re: Pawns & Kings (Alter Bridge - VII)
------Holy crap, Fable is really good.
Right when it got to the guitar breakdown right before the dueling guitar solos stuff, I felt this smile just form across my face.
Heck yeah bros.
-------I need more listens but I actually enjoyed the chorus of Holiday. Had a catchy feel to it.

I dont every song by MF4 is like 10 out of 10.
But over the years yeah, my opinion changed. Mayfield Four are pretty solid and they got some damn good stuff.

Re: Mark about a Creed reunion
I think Alter bridge is usually pretty consistent. Wasnt too impressed with the latest Tremonti album though. It wasnt horrible but I just thought it was mostly okay and thats it. I think the media didnt like Creed in part because they were so huge. The media and critics love to build people up and ...

Fall Out Boy's 2nd album is pretty solid top to bottom.
Same with 3rd vertical horizon album, Superunknown album by Soundgarden, self-titled album by Hoobastank and debut album by Matchbox 20.
Down on the upside album is like half great songs, half whatever songs.

Okay. Thanks for the update.
And I agree that it didn’t answer everything. Could just be music business stuff, who knows.

Re: Nickelback
Yeah that new song doesnt sound so great and San Quentin just sounds like a rock song they normally make other than it maybe being slightly heavier. I doubt I will like the new record much but we shall see. Ive owned 7 out of the 10 Nickelback albums.
