I never did get the GH, but I believe they used the radio edits of the songs which were shortened in some cases.

I don't know if that's a good thing that, generally, many people still regard their first album as their best. Might be the nostalgia, might just be that it's been around longer and had more time to soak into our collective consciousness. Or may just be a testament to what a fantastic, classic album...
