Going by the 30 second previews, I’m really liking what I’m hearing from Godspeed and Forever Falling especially. For a split second I thought it was the Myles part of Forever Falling, Marks vocals are on point.

I’ve always thought their stuff sounded great, I never noticed any issue with the mixing until Walk the Sky, so I think it might be because of how rushed this record was. They had to get in the studio and get everything recorded and mixed in record time, so maybe that affected the quality.

You Will Be Remembered is not that bad, the hyperbolic hate for it I’ve seen here recently is pretty retarded. I enjoyed it on first listen and think there are worse songs in the AB catalogue for sure.

My one complaint with the song is it’s too short. You can feel that it could very easily be a couple of minutes longer.

Other than that I love it. Some nice solo work, Myles sounds incredible, and I like the atmosphere of the song. Good stuff.

I consider Slip To the Void an epic. That’s just me though. Might be slightly too short for others to include it.

I also think Brand New Start is a borderline epic. The atmosphere of the song, the solo, and the outro put it almost in that category for me.
