Re: Alter Bridge Sign With Napalm Records

The ex Kyuss guys as Vista Chino were on Napalm. Although a far cry from Kyuss(vista chino released a very average album and horrible videos).

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

I hope the band finds a new identity with Stapp in and its just not the case of hiring him to cut an album and tour.

Re: DUST - The Second Part

I consider ABIII and Fortress below average. Apart from a couple of songs, I can't stand those two albums anymore, thats just my preference. All I Was was another disappointment for me, Cauterize was ok, Dust is a good album, its still far from what I would like from Tremonti, I don't think this is ...

Re: DUST - The Second Part

Best album Tremonti has been a part of since BlackBird imo. Never Wrong is easily my favourite song from Tremonti's several projects lately, I think for me it is up there at the top with Torn. What a fucking song.

Rooster Sessions

So heres something we've started at my guitar store here in India. A platform for artists across the country (and hopefully the world) to come down and play their catalog stripped. Starting out with a band called Parvaaz performing their song Shaad featuring a guest vocal by Alexis. The singing is K...

I like how folks here are rooting for "simplicity" and "groovy" this time. Hope the bands going through these boards this time.

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

I see hints of a performer that I remember. The voice needs to get stronger, its still pitchy, but stapp has a clarity now that I don't remember seeing in years.

Re: Should Scott Stapp form a new band ?

Heard rumours that sevendust guys might possibly be involved, with all due respect to the band and the fans, I hope not. Stapp cannot be a part of another cheesy modern rock outfit, he has a lotta cheese to offer himself. I hope its a well thought of project with some serious musicians who are willi...

Re: New Creed Documentary Clip

Nice video, despite the bad sound. I'm always amazed to see how different Stapp behaved back then as a frontman. So calm and confident, no cheesiness whatsoever. Back then he had more passion and his voice was on point. I didn't start listening to them until Human Clay was about to come out, wish I...

Re: 'With Arms Wide Open: A Retrospective' (Nov. 20th)

Blistered first... wow surprised how good it is! Had to go back and listen to that distortion part again, at 2 min in, because it rocked and it sounded familiar... and I realized it's very similar to the live version of Whats This Life For, especially just after the "settle no goddamn score&qu...

Re: SMK&C 2015 Tour

well I guess thats what happens with age. I hope this is not caused by his age. So many singers were able to Keep their voice over the years, you can't tell me that someone like Myles, who basically lives for his voice loses the strength in it. I dunno, Chris Cornell has lost quite a bit in his voi...

Re: 'With Arms Wide Open: A Retrospective' (Nov. 20th)

:yeahthat Except, I doubt it'll be a cash grab, I don't think a lot of non hardcores would buy it, not just that its absolutely nothing new, but cuz the way it is being promoted. I dont understand, even if they had to release something like that now, they could have included so much more material, l...

Re: SMK&C 2015 Tour

Just watched these boys in Bangalore. They killed it. Myles brought his A game. He is a phenomenal live performer. He hit every single note, the only issue I guess would be that his voice turns really thin, well I guess thats what happens with age. Regardless, killer set, It'd be awesome to see thes...
