Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread
Been a fan since fall 2007 myself, right before Blackbird was released. Time flies.

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread
^^ By that logic, wouldn't it make sense to do a new Creed album? First album in 14+ years. Streaming metrics and whatever physical album sales metrics are going to be more than what an AB or Tremonti album does by a good difference. Apologies, forgot to reply to you. Streaming does nothing financi...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread
Or it makes more sense for him financially. Tours sell better than albums these days and judging from how well the cruises and the tour have sold, he is not willing to invest in the studio time for the new tunes. Having the financial safety capitalizing from Creed he can do AB and Tremonti at ease.

Re: Amps & Other Guitar Gear
They can be awesome value but they don't have great quality control, so be prepared to make send one or two back with possible issues. Like Chapman guitars, their business model is too buy direct from the factory and the store is supposed to QC, but they often don't. So there could be a likelihood ...

Mark about future Creed tunes https://blabbermouth.net/news/mark-tremonti-says-he-holds-music-aside-for-possible-new-creed-album Asked if he can see CREED making new music in the not-too-distant future, Mark said: "I'm not sure. If we would have known this was gonna do so well, we would have p...

Re: Got a band? Post info & updates in here!
Hey all, Below is my band. Please give it a listen and let me know what you think! BLINDED BY HOPE https://blindedbyhope.com/ Hey man, that's very cool! The music gives me strong Deftones/Karnivool vibes but what I like is that you guys never go for 'obvious transitions' between sections and you ke...

Re: Scott Stapp Album IV HIGHER POWER
It does not have to be that way. Same for the ridiculous brickwalling on every rock album since 1995. Just because it's become the new industry standard does not make it right whatsoever for listeners. Obviously not. It's just that Stapp isn't the kind of guy that would be trying to break the mould...

Re: Amps & Other Guitar Gear
Anybody has ever tried Harley Benton axes? They are as far as I understand Thomann's own brand (which is a music mega story in Germany). I've been looking at their SC-Custom II series as I might need another six-string for Drop C# to rehearse with my new band. It looks pretty much like ESP LTD, just...

Hey, that sitar breakdown and the phrygian dominant harmony guitar solo are pretty cool.
For the rest, just your regular modern alternative metal radio friendly track.

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread
Anybody else ever noticed this super loud snare hit in Brand New Start at 4:19 before? Something might have gone a bit wrong with the compression I guess as the rest of the snare hits is quite subdued. Maybe an edit doubled up on it? That's a good shout. But it's strange they never noticed it while...

Re: What are you listening to right now?
Earthside's Let The Truth Speak album. These guys definitely do not suffer from the second-album syndrome. A lot of great, fresh, proggy ideas keeping the genre alive.
