Re: Guns N Roses (original line up)

Axl looks so different now. I have only seen some snippets on instagram. Seems like he sounded pretty ballsy on Welcome To The Jungle. On the other hand he sounded like Mickey Mouse on Paradise City.

Re: The Official BLACK STONE CHERRY Thread

@Jim what kind of connection do you have with BSC that you even help him write songs?

Re: The Official BLACK STONE CHERRY Thread

I don't know why but I have problems enjoying this album. Many songs sound so uninspired. Nothing more than a 7/10 album for me. Maybe my opinion will change after listening to it more often. At least it's better than the last two albums, especially the guitars sound really cool.

Learn your classics sir, this is a cover ;)

Acoustic gig in the Troubadour (or how this venue is called).
I'm actually curious if they are really playing tonight.

Re: What grinds your gears?

Trump, refugees, growing ultra right wing parties in several European countries. I'm so sick and tired of this shit. I really hope some of these right wing idiots will become elected in one country or region so that they can show how much of their simple xenophobic campaign points are actually usefu...

Re: Your Top 10 Tremonti Songs

Providence sounded too much like a standard Tremonti progressive pattern to me. Fingerpicking, extended rather heavy bridge, long drawn chorus.

Stone Sour's "Threadbare" has nearly the same pattern and isn't considered a progressive song.

Re: DUST - The Second Part

Nah, Kirk Wahmett isn't that much into gallops like Tremonti. I never had to think of Metallica while listening to that song. That's some typical Tremonti guitaring. A song with this style kinda missed on Cauterize. Just compare My Last Mistake's riff to the one of Arm Yourself. Much more creativity...

What was that song? Sounds evil. Evil is good. Cauterize wasn't evil enough.

Re: DUST - The Second Part

Sorry it pisses me off that someone can get credit for faking it live. Anywho! Hoping that there are more memorable riffs on this album. The most memorable off Cauterize was probably Fall Again, everything else seemed like a lot of chug fest stuff. Not that that is bad, but there wasn't much like t...

Re: How far can Tremonti take it?

So we're all taking this talent show comment seriously? Lol why not? Name a better way to get your name out there than being on a 5mil+ viewership tv program. Dude, this guy sold 30 milion records back in the day and now you want him to be a part of a talent show? What the actual fuck dude. I would...

No Tremonster project ever released more than one song before the album came out. I doubt that we will get a second single before the album release.

Re: DUST - The Second Part

Think this single will finally put Tremonti on the map Would be nice, but I'm sceptical on this one. Probably because the promotion is low as always. How is it low? 6 weeks out from release , drop the single and video - tour promo, reviews, PR and full radio charge... honest question - what else ca...
