Re: AB Box Set

Frik man, it was kinda hard for me to build the nerve to buy Fortress, though I know it was an easy purchase. If only I had $250 lying under beds or sofas in the house, then, maybe, I would consider taking a chance in buying this. Yeah, I'm that cheap.

Re: Brian Marshall's response to the Setlist

I just think we expect so much out of them, in terms of everything that goes in a band, albums, touring, etc, that nowadays, anything less than our expectations, which varies from person to person, would be considered disappointment, which kinda happened after people listened to AB III, the 1st time...

That's my favourite from that EP. I'm looking forward to buying it soon.

Ina Garten talking about cheesy food.

Figuratively cheesy or actual food that has cheese in it?

Re: Nottingham - TOMORROW!

Am I the only one who wants them to keep a few BB songs when they tour? We're not saying that they should play no songs from Blackbird. They should, obviously, keep the songs that speaks to the audience like Blackbird and Watch Over You and the ones that get the crowd pumped up like White Knuckles,...

Re: Nottingham - TOMORROW!

I don't think they will do more than 18 songs in the UK with three bands on the bill. There is only one support act in mainland Europe so I'm hoping for 19-20. Again, funny thing, the last UK tour AB did, they were playing 19-20 songs (though one of them were dueling guitar solos) with, at Wembley,...

Hahaha, "Don't fall asleep on me, now," says Myles. Even if it wasn't an AB show, who falls asleep at a rock concert? They are loud as heck.

Re: Nottingham - TOMORROW!

Ryan, if you say that they are going to do that, I'll take your word for it. Maybe, they could play longer at Wembley or the Hydro. It's kinda a bit odd as well with the amount of songs compared to the last tour. With the three bands combined, AB/Theory of a Deadman/Black Stone Cherry played a combi...

Re: Nottingham - TOMORROW!

That's a bit depressing. Again, I rather that they replace Before Tomorrow Comes and Brand New Start for some Fortress songs. Hell, I rather that they replaced those songs with songs like Metalingus and Watch Over You. Do people really like Before Tomorrow Comes that much?

Nothing like the feeling of seeing a physics quiz and see that you know exactly what to do to solve it. Feels, pretty damn good.

Wait, Kevin was on the old boards? So he's just been lurking for years and finally decided to post like a madman these past couple months? I think I had like 200 posts, or so, on the old boards, during the ABIII run, and didn't really partake in any general discussion, except, probably, the WWE thr...

Doesn't look like it, according to this one.

I'm guessing he is alternating positions, based on songs, I guess.

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

All right, well. I just sent my three college applications. I'm a bit scared. All I can hope for is that they don't focus too much on what I did at Cal Poly Pomona and focus heavily on what I did in Mt. Sac, my community college. If they look at it, that way, I'm in.
