Re: 'With Arms Wide Open: A Retrospective' (Nov. 20th)
Creed was where Tremonti was original. He felt pressure to impress more complicated guitarists of his time. Plus the meaningless hate the band were getting early on added Tremonti to doubt what he had with Creed. Nobody is saying that Tremonti has not become a technically better guitar player. Sadly...

Re: 'With Arms Wide Open: A Retrospective' (Nov. 20th)
Using WAWO as a name would be a bad idea. The song is great, but its been so over played and mocked that its just not something they should hold on to. It is ironical that such a great song became so overplayed yet hated eventually because it was over fed. They should really think this through and r...

Re: Myles's solo album
Given AB are recording next year and touring later, and also that Slash is ready with another album worth of material and touring cycle, I have a feeling this is gonna happen in 2017. Guns N Roses will happen, Tremonti will either be with his solo band, or hopefully be doing something with Creed for...

Re: Myles's solo album
Amazing news. I hope it's in the same league as the MF4 records... FWIW, Myles himself said "People who have heard it say it's closer to my previous band back in the late '90s, The Mayfield Four. It kinda has that vibe to it." Fuck, this is good. Definitely best news I've heard musically ...

Re: Tremonti 2015 Touring
@ TTournier Probably more tasteful acts like Tool, Alice In Chains? Look, again, no offence, this is my personal opinion. I see that bringing the two fan bases together will definitely be more exposure for both bands, but I feel if Tremonti wanna grow, pair up with artists with good music, not avera...

Re: Tremonti 2015 Touring
The sound just doesn't sound mature enough. Its what pulls high school crowd imo. Being good with your instrument does not always mean you can churn good stories out with good choice of notes. My concern is that Tremonti might head into similar direction of making average psudo metal to impress tee...

Re: Tremonti 2015 Touring
I dunno, I just can't stand Trivium. I find them cheesy and really lame. No offence to anyone. Tremonti could be pairing up with Slash and Co. or someone else. Respect your opinion Bones but man...I've seen Triv 3 or 4 times and they really bring it. The guys in the band really care about their mus...

Difference in Perception?
Its funny how "shit" like this becomes something to "brag" about, and wear like a medal, yet Stapp gets termed all sorts of things for genuine issues. Not taking sides or trying to defend anyone, it just boggles my mind how one guy's mess becomes cool, while the other gets hate f...
