Re: Blues Pills
So they are quite popular in Germany? Well, I never heard of em before.
But Lawd, it's a shame that I don't know them. The singer's voice gave me a boner, or as we Germans say "Ständer"

"Ties That Bind" and kinda "Who's Got My Back". Every song has parts that remind me of Creed and especially Alter Bridge. But that's not a bad thing. The world needs more Alter Bridge like music.

Dunno why but the chorus of the opener sounds kinda cheesy imo. But they seem to be talented. Gotta check out the whole album.

The Electric set is pretty heavy, eh? :D An acoustic version of Fallout would be so neat. I don't think Calm The Fire would work out without electric guitars btw. Just change Calm the Fire with Coming Home. Myles nailed that one in his acoustic solo performance about one year ago. https://www.youtub...

Tool- Lateralus
Like that band very much. Sometimes I miss a straight forward metal song though.

Coffee, black. Second and last cup for today. Since I had to learn for university in the past few weeks, I drank way too much Red Bull, so my body developed some kind of caffeine addiction. Now I'm off to lower my caffeine (and sugar) level again.

Seems like you do not get the South Park reference, but yea, I totally agree with you.SHEAKENBAKEN wrote:Hate 'em. They're so gross and have no flavor. I much prefer chicken strips over fish sticks.Mr. Slash wrote:Do you guys like fish sticks?

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
I usually wear glasses when I'm watching TV or behind my PC, but lately I've been wearing contacts a lot. Putting them in and taking them out was annoying at first, but once you get used to that they're so much more comfortable than glasses. It's like wearing glasses, without actually wearing glass...

They cut Slip To The Void Out, because Mark was too loud? To be honest, I kinda love that sound issue so I don't understand why they did this.

Re: One I Cinema
Bleed It Dry, Cry of Achilles, and a little Come To Life + a poppy chorus. :D Nice riffing overall imo. But I think they sound a little too much like a Alter Bridge rip off. Maybe not this song, but on their website they have some 30 second snippets and the opener sounds like 1 to 1 copy of Ties Tha...

Why do you think so? If I remember correctly "You Waste Your Time" was released a pretty long time before the release of the first album.Ryan wrote:
I highly doubt we'll hear anything from the album before then as well, other than that video we saw already.

Tool are pretty cool. Dream Theater sounds too sterile for me. The guitars and the singer are totally not mine. And the keyboard thing... Well, I'm not a keyboard fan at all. Gojira, Mastodon, Opeth. I gave them all a chance... Either too much screaming or too much pseudo progressive shizzle... I ju...

Re: Most Anticipated Albums Of 2015?
I'm really desperate regarding new releases. Despite the projects of our AB guys, Slash and Stone Sour everything in modern rock and metal music bores the shit out of me. This world needs more awesome songwriters and lead guitarists again. It can't be, that a 50 year old, former crack head, who had ...
