Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Ok, so my planning for my next trip is in full swing. I'm going to Cleveland, OH in March to see A7X. Then I'm going to take an Amtrak Train at 1:50 AM after the concert to go to Pittsburgh and maybe see the Penguins play against the Oilers if tickets are reasonable. I'm only staying at an AirBnb fo...

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

^^ I think the reason he doesn't sing that line is because the pause between "Fortress coming down" to "I know we can't save it all" is basically non-existent for him to transition line to line. It wouldn't be a clean singing transition compared to later in the chorus from "...

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

All right, well. The band may be on break, but at least, they have released a video of them playing Fortress from the Royal Albert Hall show.

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

I got nothing going for me. I went to see this iHeartRadio festival that had like 8 Alt. Rock bands playing 20-30 min. sets last Saturday. That was all right. I do plan on seeing Avenged Sevenfold in Cleveland in March and I'm contemplating whether or not I should take a train ride from Cleveland to...

Re: AB social media confirms Australian tour coming later in 2023

Yeah, that's rough. They probably had something planned in addition to the 3 shows in South America back in November, but something probably fell through, logistic-wise, that couldn't make it happen.

Re: *The Official Creed Press Thread* (Updated 6/17/12)

Eh, I don't really care. I agree with Stapp. I'm tired of pretending Alter Bridge is good. TLH and P&K are lyrical political trash and I can't enjoy the music because of it. I can slightly enjoy Walk the Sky because most of the lyrics are vague or about different subjects. But it's clear AB's b...

Shinedown - Breathe

Apparently, this was a bonus track from Threat To Survival that's on Youtube now. Why was this left out of the main album??? I like this more than most of the stuff from that album.

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

Wow. This band is now 20 years old. I've been a fan for 17 of those years. For the most part in high school, they were basically the only thing that has help me be upbeat about life and through adulthood moving forward. Let's hope they keep the ride going just a little longer. Mark's hopeful of that...

Re: Tremonti - Episode VI: Dusty Marching Machines

Didn't Mark say in previous interviews from years ago that either he wanted to do a double album (half acoustic, half electric like Foo Fighters' In Your Honor) or something along the lines of another album based on a fictional sci-fi-like story ala A Dying Machine? I would like to see him make one ...

Re: Walk The Sky Production Quality.

Long-winded, but point being, every album is a growth experience, they do something new, record in a different way, focus on certain elements, etc. That's what WTS felt like to me, a growth, a bit of an experiment with their sound, writing some amazing songs. I hate to say P&K felt like a backs...

Re: Summer of 99 Tour

I mean if you are not going to go to a show on principle because the band hasn’t officially announced new music yet and just want to focus on their first tour in 12 years, where most likely they are going to play the hits to showcase themselves, I don’t know what to tell you. This is why I keep sayi...

Re: Walk The Sky Production Quality.

I may have already said this somewhere in this thread, but giving it a few more years of hindsight, I still don't have any issues with the production quality of Walk the Sky. For me, I don't really have any issues of the direction and sound quality that AB went with the albums they made with Elvis, ...

Re: Summer 2024 Tour and Summer of '99 and Beyond festival

Understood. I don't know. As I said before, it's just something that irrationally irks me at times, especially when people joke about Creed and I take those comments as an insult to Mark, Flip, and Brian as musicians. For the record, there should be no doubts that those guys worked just as hard and ...

Re: Summer 2024 Tour and Summer of '99 and Beyond festival

Maybe they should just play nothing but Higher for the entire tour, if that's all people want to talk about. I get that it is the song that people recognize the most when they know about Creed, but there's some other cool songs they released that could get some mainstream recognition in the now. I w...

^^ Yeah, but given the nature of everything that's going on, we can't just automatically assume they come back and they are immediately working on new music. Just let things happen. Don't expect much, but enjoy everything when unexpected things happen.

Nothing More featuring Lacey Sturm - Best Times

This is already a good song by itself. Having Lacey Sturm on guest vocals makes it better.

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

New interview of Stapp from Loudwire. Sounds like he seems more ready for this tour, mentally and emotionally, now than when they first came back in 2009. That's all you can hope for. Whether that lasts for however long remains to be seen. https://loudwire.com/scott-stapp-future-creed-new-solo-album...

I’m so sad. I got an email stating the Beverly Hills show has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. I guess I need another show in January to fill my concert quota.
