yeah, i could never justify an ipad or another tablet either. especially when i have my iphone and my laptop. the ipad does everything the iphone does, except text and make phone calls. no point in spending another $600 on one. now, if i won one or was given one, that is another story. i always laug...

yeah, but not enough money or location. i was looking in an area to get a brand new home, but it's 95 miles one way from work. that's not gonna fly for me. 200 miles each time i work? no thanks!

exactly. i just want to make sure i'm not gonna end up with something that's gonna have a lot of issues. seems like the average age of homes in all the areas i'm looking are 50-60 years old. some have been upgraded, but not all. watching shows like Holmes on Homes helps, but doesn't at the same time...

been here a year, but my dad will have to sell in the next year or two (i forget) in order to avoid paying taxes on the equity in the house. it's a one time thing the government allows when you retire. he's got like $300,000 in equity so yeah...lol

probably within the next year. i rent right now, but i'm renting my dad's house. looking to buy our own. just looking now to get an idea though. lots of houses to go through, not a lot of ones i like
