Unless kev buys me a ticket now...

I definitely want to go to the listening party, but logistically I just can't make plans until there's a solid date, so I'm crossing my fingers there will still be tickets available when they set the date.

Re: The Movie Thread

Boy Erased is a true story about a teenager who enters a gay conversion therapy program in the conservative South. It is not a very enjoyable movie, which is a key part of it's meaning and purpose. It is, however, a very admirable movie and a very important story. The idea that people believe that ...

Re: Books/What are you reading?

Just finished The Fall of Gondolin. It's the last of JRR Tolkein's unpublished tales, and his son Christopher put together the 2 major unfinished versions along with some pertinent notes and some references from his other works and artwork into a single volume. It was very well done and an enjoyable...

Re: Like A Storm

LAS is headlining the SiriusXM Octane Accelerator Tour right now and I saw them here earlier this week. These kids put on a really really great show. Great energy. Good stage presence. Super appreciative of the fans. They have become really freakin great musicians so the music is tight and dynamic. ...

Dig Schons's look and those outfits. Man, you guys who were still gametes in the 70s and 80s really missed out.

Your fault, Suckerberg

I wish we had the traffic to crash this place. TABN was THE online place to hang out for AB fans. Still lots of great people here, but there are too many options around the internet anymore.

Plus, it's British, so it has to be good

Just watched S1 of Sex Education, a brand new Netflix series that follows the adventures of a group of British high school teenagers and their various sexual victories and failures. It's centered around one slightly awkward 16 y/o who, using his knowledge and guidance gained from his divorced therap...

The other great part about AB's 15th anniversary is that it's roughly the 13th anniversary of my hanging out here on the various versions of the forum with all of you fine AB fans. You guys rule.

THAT'S what the sugar bowl was for!

The final season (3) of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events came out on Netflix on Jan 1 and I just finished bingeing it a couple days ago. It was brilliant and I am so totally depressed that it is done. It was wickedly funny and clever and captivating from start to finish. Neil Patrick ...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

I guess I'm a bit surprised that Disturbed is filling arenas that size. Cool, I guess, but I wish AB could get a whiff of that kind of support over here in the US.

Good call. If by worst, Myles means best, then he's exactly right. Those were 12 amazing gems.

Unsophistication is contagious

I have a 16 y/o boy with no frontal lobes in my house. I have to watch out for stuff like that.

Oh, and that melody was exactly that Phillips song. You nailed it Brian.

Meytal - Divine Insurrection

It sounds really good. A bit more prog with some heavier elements than their first album, which I really liked a lot.
