Re: Myles Kennedy Solo Tour 2018

^^ No clue. I say keep trying to get tickets on the same site or get onto another computer. On a side note, in an interesting surprise, Walking Papers will be supporting Myles for the US leg. Sadly, Duff McKagan will not join them on tour as he will be touring with GNR in that time period, but you s...

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

Fun fact, everyone. This DVD sold around 4,300 copies in the first week and charted #27 in the Billboard 200 according to this article. https://www.metalinsider.net/columns/metal-by-numbers/metal-by-numbers-9-21-this-week-was-clutch Not only that, they made it to #1 in the Classical albums chart and...

Re: NEW! A Glimmer of Hope

You know, I keep seeing the whole "Creed sold more copies of one album than all of AB's entire catalog combined" statement when going into the AB vs Creed argument. Let me ask this question. If Creed started from scratch (all of the guys are unknown musicians at that point), from day one, ...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

All right, back from the Owl City concert. I stood around for 7 hours straight. My feet are extremely sore. Was it all worth it? Yes, it was. Don't know if I will have a long lengthy post about it. I'll think about it tomorrow.

All right, three hours of waiting gets me 6th row in front. I’ll take it.

Re: AB VI Speculation

^^ Mark says that they will go into the studio in March to record. Slash/Myles/Conspirators' last show in the Europe tour is on March 15th, but if AB are going into the studio, they usually would spend around the first two weeks of recording on drums and bass first. I think they have the time to get...

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

Oh, I know my hearing's pretty bad, which is probably how I can tolerate some of the more panned albums that was produced by Elvis (AB III, The Last Hero). I can understand people's frustrations, though, when if they think this is something that can be easily be fixed before the final product is rel...

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

I'm not doing that as well. If I think it's a good product, then it's a good product to me and I wouldn't change it one bit, and this DVD is a good product to me. Sure, there are flaws and whatever, but I didn't notice or care about it at all and it's really not anything worth me exerting energy or ...

One more thing to binge on regarding Owl City.

Owl City's Live in Los Angeles DVD. This is a great representation of Owl City's live set that includes a lot of good stuff before Owl City released The Midsummer Station album.

Re: Not ONE Myles Kennedy concert review?

I can post my concert review in threads I deem fit. Technically, this is the concert section in Alter Bridge section, so I presume it only meant AB concerts only. I didn't know we can post concert reviews of projects from an AB member. Like I said, I didn't think anyone would be interested in readin...

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

^^ The thing is that Myles had always sung that particular line that way when they play Brand New Start in the post-AB III era. I don't know if I prefer it that way compared to the Live From Amsterdam version.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Mike Shinoda feat. K.Flay - Make It Up As I Go I really enjoyed Mike's verses in this one. Edit: Finally made it to this point with two days to go before the Owl City concert. Owl City's Cinematic album. My 4th favorite album of 2018 and it's probably going to stay there. Just love the overall theme...

If Take You With Me didn't work out as a radio single in the Active Rock charts, I don't think The First The Last is going to do better.

All right, the Adam Young/Owl City binge listening marathon will continue now. Going to listen to as many of his instrumental scores as I can before I can finally re-listen to Owl City's latest album, Cinematic.

Re: Am I too drunk for ABVI hype article

Way to burn your 13,000th post, Andy, on that one. Well, someone's got to do it for Canada if there is any chance for them to do an extended tour there. It's like Greg trying to will a Myles solo show or Tremonti show in Denver and look what you know, he's got a Myles solo show in Denver in December...

Re: Fight the Fury

I read about this band on Loudwire. I read that their sound is somewhere is along the lines of Slipknot and I thought "John Cooper has formed a band that sounds, instrumentally, like Slipknot? All right, let's see what happens." This is pretty darn heavy stuff compared to Skillet and it is...

Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine

My family just bought a new car and it comes with a 3 month free subscription to Sirius XM and I'm finally able to listen to Octane and see what it is about. I like it so far. I, too, find FM radio that has the Active Rock format to be full of stale and quite uninspiring stuff nowadays. Either from ...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Owl City's Ultraviolet EP. This EP took place in between albums and it's got a few great songs, including a good collaboration with Lindsey Stirling in the song Beautiful Times. Also going to listen to Owl City's Mobile Orchestra album. I think out of all Owl City albums, this is probably the most p...

Re: A Dying Machine Novel Pre-order/Discussion Thread

You know. For once, I would just like for AB or an AB-related band to release something non-album related and not have any issues at all when it comes to the final delivery. Please. These are good men, great musicians. It shouldn't be hard to ask for.
