The lyrics are pretty lousy compared to the first two albums, but sort of an improvement over the third. Too simplistic.

I like Scott too. And I enjoyed it. Don't care if 'generic, radio rock' or what you want to call it. I enjoy it for what it is. A good rock album by a dude with a good fucking voice.

So Scott started following me on Instagram the other day and it reminded me that I need to check out his solo material. Proof of Life is a pretty good album. I'm surprised by the heavyness some of the songs have. Very cool.

The Blackbird solos and Bleed It Dry are given much more attention than they deserve, in my opinion. They're not bad, fit the songs well. But they are not the best. What band is the song "You See It" from?

Before their third album, these guys were at the forefront of rock and roll for me (with AB obviously). Then that turd came out. Ugh. Im hoping for a miracle with the new album. There's definitely some good tunes. I haven't heard all of the older stuff. I have to do it myself. I still need to listen to the second Thornley cd as well.

The tab has Mark in Open D5 but then flat, and Myles in Drop C#. The guy who did it is one of the best I've seen on there so I'm ok with that. I just dont recall the band themselves saying they used two different tunings.
