Re: 2017 U.S. headline tour...........
I haven't been on the forums in years but had to drop in just to say I was at the show last night. The second I heard the Intro to Words I lost my mind. It was incredible and Myles nailed the high note. Hope it becomes a set staple!

Re: ABV tour date(s).
Another show has been added, it seems, according to their tour date page. They will be in Jackson, MS for the Mississippi State Fair on October 10. I lost my mind out of excitement when I seen this. Supposedly it's a free show as well other than paying the entry fee to the fair which is usually $5 ...

Re: The Offical HANDFUL OF CALEB Thread
But I can't be the only one who thinks "Handful of Caleb" sounds a bit... wrong? :D :lol I think that's the point. It means exactly what it sounds like lol. And thanks for the feedback! That's a huge compliment comparing it to Nirvana. I realized it had a bit of that in it once we finishe...

The Offical HANDFUL OF CALEB Thread
My best friend is a bassist and named Caleb. We've been in multiple bands together and an ongoing inside joke has been he's always wanted to name every band "Handful of Caleb". Well he now works a job in New York but all his family and friends (including me) live in Mississippi. Caleb was ...

.... Enjoy the record - it ill be on YouTube under the channel named tremonti at the time of release. Best, Tim Tournier This may be a little off topic but I just wanted to pop in and say Tim, you obviously are a great business man but props on being a legitimate classy dude as well. That could hav...

Re: Best stand up comedians?
I actually got to see Kyle Kinane live last night who's one of my personal favorites. He had me in tears multiple times. I highly recommend him. He voices most all ads for Comedy Central and has been on Drunk History, Workaholics, and @midnight. He does a lot of self depreciating humor He's got 3 al...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread
I just left Stapp's show in Biloxi,MS and I have to say I am incredibly impressed and surprised. I saw Stapp a few years back on his acoustic tour and his voice was getting better but still wasn't there. Tonight he sounded amazing.. Almost as good as early Creed. The only song that was a little roug...

Re: Bands similar to RED & Sevendust?
Love & Death is the first band that comes to mind that is similar to those two. Jason Rauch (formerly of Red and now in Breaking Benjamin) produced their album. Also Cathercist is another band that is kind of Sevendust-ish.

Re: Show some love for AB
I don't come around here that often anymore because the negativity got really out of hand a few times, but that being said, I still love Alter Bridge and everything they stand for. I've been a member since before things were even on this board, and I still love connecting with the original die-hard...

Re: Tremonti 2015 Touring
I told Jim to tell Mark to play Radical Change at that show. Wonder if they tried it in sound check and decided not to play it at the show. It sounded great musically and they played the whole song instrumentally but Mark said something about it being really high after they did the first verse. I a...

Re: Tremonti 2015 Touring
I was at the show in Mobile. Still no new songs besides the 3 they've been doing but Mark invited me to sound check. They played Radical Change (tho Mark only sang one verse and chorus) but it sounded incredible. Can not wait to hear the recorded version!

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
I'm meeting Tremonti for a guitar clinic in 30 mins guys... OMG omg omg omg OMG omg Have fun! Before you meet him, try saying his name as much as possible in your head, until it starts sounding weird. To the point where you start doubting yourself. Then afterwards let me know what came out of your ...

Re: Tremonti 2015 Touring
The artist session is well worth it for anyone considering it, it was so cool getting to be backstage and tour the rig and hang with Mark. Not to mention the fact that the lesson was extremely helpful, I still use the exercises he gave us and I can honestly say it's made me a much better guitar pla...
