Keep an eye out for shows around Jan. 25-28, that’s when NAMM is happening. Would love to make that happen!

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Very real chance that I’m gonna get to go to winter NAMM for free at the end of January. Hotel and flight to Anaheim paid for. Ahhh the joys of being a music student in college

Re: The gym will still be there tomorrow...

Anyone else watching Stranger Things season 2? First two episodes were decent, but 3&4 have got me excited. Major cliffhangers at the end of each, tempted to binge the rest tonight... I watched it all on Friday when it was released, loved this season even more than the first. There’s only one e...

Re: Official TRIVIUM Thread

The more I listen to this album, the more enjoyment I get out of it. Not generally a fan of aggressive/screaming/growling vocals, but it is done very well here. The instrumentation is excellent and interesting throughout the whole album. If I had to pick a favorite, it’s probably The Revanchist. Def...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Just saw the Foo Fighters live for the first time last night, absolutely lived up to the hype. Dave is the true definition of a rockstar, most entertaining front man I've ever seen in person. Literally in awe of how he was able to go at the intensity he was going for 3 hours straight. Had an out of ...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Trivium - Betrayer Really digging this one, the drumming on this record so far has been top notch! Started getting into Trivium after the last album, but REALLY digging the 3 songs they've put out so far from the new one. Can't wait for the album on Friday. Like this more than Heart from Your Hate,...

Re: Amps & Other Guitar Gear

What would you compare the OD sound of the Timmons on top of an amps OD channel? Does it get too muddy? My amp kind tops out at Judas Priest type overdrive by itself. Unless I down tune. It definitely muddies things up and you begin to lose clarity in your notes. And unless you have a noise gate so...

Re: Amps & Other Guitar Gear

Going to pick up my first pedal soon. I'm either going with the Andy Timmons overdrive by JHS or the Avalanche Run reverb/delay by earthquaker devices. Thinking the Avalanche first since my Hughes and Kettner doesn't have built in reverb. And with the delay included, I'll save board room. I really ...

So apparently Hurricane Irma is now being projected to turn and come right through my city and state, how much impact is still unknown for a few days.
