Re: Marching In Time

Is it OK if I just like the album and really really really enjoy listening to it without thinking it over and analysing it too much !? Just enjoy the music.................................................. Shoot me ! If everyone adopted your approach there'd be no point in having a forum to begin w...

Re: Marching In Time

Anyone got any takes on what these songs could be about? They are the only songs Mark hasn't given an explanation for as far as I know. Now And Forever Let That Be Us In One Piece Not Afraid To Lose Bleak Now And Forever - This song feels like a pessimistic twin of Let That Be Us. Let That Be Us - ...

I'm glad to read Mark is now thinking positively about Creed, but it seems all we're gonna get is a short tour like the 2009 and 2010 ones.
I'm lazy so all I do is click on active topics and jump in head first :lol

Re: The Movie Thread

Random question, folks. What's your favourite comedy flick?

I will go first to get this horse neighing (shifty eyes)

It's either Groundhog Day or Big Lebowski. I refuse to pick between the two. You can't make me.

Re: Marching In Time

I can understand that people like Tremonti as a band and enjoy this record. What I don't get is all those insane reviews giving it a 9/10 or a 10/10. Have those reviewers ever heard an actual masterpiece? Those things are pretty rare if you ask me. I know someone who won't watch movies not made by ...

Re: Marching In Time

I don't get why everybody gets so pumped about the stuff that's gonna sound just like the previous record. But I think we're still allowed to have a civil discussion about it. Because people like that kind of stuff. Simple answer, yet effective. Am I not allowed to get excited about stuff that I kn...

Re: Marching In Time

I want to hear Walking Beside Me now, dammit! From a comment on Facebook: Think of "In Loving Memory" reimagined as an epic. Really touches on how he feels going through life after his mothers passing. The tone change reminded me of blackbird though. Such a somber tone at first to somethi...

Re: Marching In Time

Fortunately, Mark is so good at both that it still works, even when it does sound a little schizophrenic. It mostly works for me but I hear you. I've actually sent 'Let That Be Us' to a couple of friends (who appreciate a good tune but aren't exactly metal-heads), and I've sort of found myself need...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

That’s a positive sign from Mark!!! Yes and no, I feel. I can't help but read it as Mark saying that the only value Creed has is the nostalgic effect. It doesn't make me feel optimistic about the possibility of new Creed music. Based on that article, it looks like Creed will tour again one day. But...

Re: Marching In Time

I'm convinced that 'Let That Be Us' was designed to be a show-closer. If it isn't the final song when the guys are touring Europe then I'll be very surprised.

I'll never forgive Mark for playing a snippet of 'Let That Be Us' and then releasing 4 other songs before letting me hear the rest of it :lol Not much longer to wait though :) nope, not much longer to wait at all. ;) yeah, i can't believe it wasn't one of the first singles. should be a real scorche...

Re: Marching In Time

Mark sounded FANTASTIC. He didn't do his "dinosaur voice" once on the whole show. I promise I'm not being a killjoy but maybe that's mainly due to their support act status? We'll have to wait and see how he fares when he's singing 18/19 songs every night :) Glad you had a good time btw! :...
