Very good shout there, Ubik. He died so young as well (42) :/

I was thinking, can Harrison Ford claim to have had the best ever run of films in a relatively short space of time? :D

It's most likely that but I wonder if they're leaving the door open for Wolfgang?

Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine

Nowadays you have to be extremely creative to stand out with music videos. Something like this is fine for a band like Tremonti. It is a shame that it doesn't have a little something to offset the performance. 'Addicted to Pain' and 'Rain' come to mind, both are performance videos but the first had...

It's funny how much you can see Eric over Mark's left shoulder compared to how little you can see of Tanner over Mark's right shoulder :lol

love the message too. Amen to that. Recently turned 29 after having a bit of a bumpy year. Went from employed and having my own place to unemployed and not having my own place (back with Mum). Not to mention a bit of girl-trouble also. It's safe to say that my self esteem has taken quite a knock, s...

https://player.siriusxm.com/#/player/live For those who'd like to listen to the song again (or perhaps for the first time), hopefully this link works. Scroll down to Octane's Test Drive, click on it and Skindred will start playing. Click on the 'skip forward' button near the top right and it'll skip...

Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine

"Never mistake what we are."
"We stand apart..."
"We'll carry on."

I guess this one is primarily from the perspective of a vessel, in terms of the concept/story? Sounds almost like a rallying cry from one vessel to another/all.

Pretty sure Tremonti's Facebook page says it'll get played again in a feature that starts at 12:00pm EST - so stick around and you should be able to catch it.

Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine

I guess perspective was bad way to put it. I meant its describing the vessels, while the softer part is describing the humans struggle as result of the vessels. Alot of people are thinking the heavy part is the humans point of view, while the soft is the vessels point of view. I just think the heav...

Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine

Sci-fi plot twist: The humans are the dying machines. That's what I gathered from it, personally. I felt the heavy parts were from the machines perspective, while the soft parts were the human (possible the main character taking about a loved one). I say this with all due respect, but how you can t...

Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine

I've got a feeling that Mark will partner up with a magazine (perhaps Kerrang in the UK?) and the book will be offered for free with an issue. I could be imagining this but I'm sure Corey Taylor did something similar with one of his books.

And I didn't really see what was so great about Rockwell's performance that landed him the Oscar for it. I love Sam, but he's had much better roles over the years. Then again, the Oscars sometimes seem to be more of a "congrats for your cumulative effort over multiple movies, here's the award ...

Re: Myles Kennedy Solo Tour 2018

That's a good point, and if that's how he wants to perform these songs, he should do it. I'm just another opinion on the internet. But I think there's a difference between a performer and an entertainer, and where a performer would try to do the spirit of a song justice, Myles is sometimes more foc...

I suppose there's only so much mileage you can get out of topics about their songs, so it's understandable that after about 15-20 posts most Creed related topics on this forum end up drifting off to the subject of another return/reunion :lol
