Re: Tremonti - Episode VI: Dusty Marching Machines

I think some people get used to seeing someone only play their signature guitar is what it stems from. It’s like seeing a photo of Slash playing a Strat lol Not a negative to me, but that’s my best guess as to where comments like that come from. It’s a dumb thing to get upset over, but I can underst...

Re: Amps & Other Guitar Gear

Bad Cat makes some really underrated stuff (at least in the US I don’t see many around). That’s a nice grab.

Re: Amps & Other Guitar Gear

Just tried my main rhythm tone based on a Revv yesterday during a rehearsal and I needed to turn my treble right down cause it sounded much fizzier on a Marshall 4x12 compared to headphones. But I love it. I’ve noticed some cabinet combinations do sound fizzy with them so I tend to back off the pre...

Re: Amps & Other Guitar Gear

Good stuff. I'm loving the Revv and Archetype modulations on the POD. It's crazy that you can even assign a Digitech Whammy pedal modulation to the expression pedal. I would be over the moon to have an actual Revv :lol The Revv models in the Axe-Fx system are solid too. I have an FM3 and enjoy usin...

Re: Video Game Bonanza!

Yeah, I've gone through Lies of P twice now. The gameplay is fantastic but it doesn't have quite the same atmosphere of the From Software stuff. It's got a similar git gud approach to Sekiro but isn't quite as insanely demanding. I'm slowly getting into the groove with Elden Ring. I'm in Liurnia at...

Re: Video Game Bonanza!

Well done there. That final boss had me stuck for ages. Sekiro was the game that finally enabled me to get into FromSoftware games. I bounced off of Dark Souls 3 pretty darn hard because there were so many options, unexplained stats and branching paths that I just ended confused as I got killed so ...

Re: Video Game Bonanza!

As a huge Soulsborne fan it took me ages to finish Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice after playing it on and off for several months, but I recently defeated the final boss on that one. I enjoy playing their games that have multiple character build options so being more limited to just using a katana was dif...

Re: What grinds your gears?

I was lying down on my bed to watch some anime on my laptop and somehow ended up slipping and falling face first into my laptop and chipped a front tooth and a little bit of my laptop where my tooth hit it. Now I gotta go to the dentist to get my chip fixed. Bring the laptop with you and see if the...

That commercial is the best thing they’ve done since 2001.

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

I went and saw Sleep Token last year - drove 4 hours each way. They announced their 2024 tour - playing in May about 15 minutes from my apartment. I signed up for pre-sale tickets on two different outlets. They sold out in less than 2 hours... I've NEVER had that problem with any of the Alter Bridg...

Re: When I am the Patient!

I was in ICU recently with some heart issues. I was a terrible patient. I had IV's in both hands, I could not function. I just laid there in the hospital bed at 3 am staring at my phone. I could not pick it up or text or scroll due to the IV threads in each of my hands. I was cold but the cover was...

Re: What grinds your gears?

Honestly I’d buy YouTube Premium if the pricing wasn’t ridiculous. I know their music subscription is bundled into that, but I already have Spotify and don’t need that. If they charged $4-$5 a month for no ads I think they’d get more subscribers than they think. I relented and bought Youtube Premiu...

I didn’t start listening until 2009 but still been a long time, coming up on 15 years.

Joined the forum around the time they were announcing the first Creed reunion. Fun times. :D

Re: Walk The Sky Production Quality.

I love the songwriting on Walk The Sky. The album reminds me a lot of AB III. I think it’s a strong album creatively and overall it’s a record I enjoy. On the production side, it kind of shares this thing with The Last Hero where it feels like you’re listening to the songs through a speaker with a b...

Didn’t know where to post this but thought it was cool. Contestant on The Voice sang Higher during the season finale last night. More publicity heading into the tour.
