Re: One Day Remains - 20th Anniversary Content
I picked up a copy mainly because there’s never been a print run of these with the original album art. Do wish it had some other bonuses (even Solace and Cruel Sun), but still glad to have a vinyl of this one.

Re: The Official BREAKING BENJAMIN Thread
New song sounds like a nice return to form compared to their last album. Get a lot of Dear Agony era vibes from it. Killer track.

Re: Amps & Other Guitar Gear
USA Tremonti update: Turns out after all these years of lusting after them that I absolutely hated the Tremonti pickups. The bridge pickup has enormous bass and almost no top end... which explains Mark's live tone. Works for him but it's just not for me. I love the rest of the guitar so I whacked s...

Eternal Lullaby is such a good track and ode to Chris Cornell.

Re: The Official DREAM THEATER Thread
I think it feels more like the Dream Theater I grew up with now that Portnoy is on drums again. I haven’t followed this guys closely in a while, but I do think it’s a good song. With that being said I do get what you mean. Their material as a whole doesn’t excite me like it did 15-20 years ago. Some...

Re: The Art Of Letting Go - MK III
Myles is currently on his press tour for the album and did an interview with Ola Englund on YouTube.
Great interview. Heard some stuff I never knew in this one.

Re: Amps & Other Guitar Gear
I didn't really budget for this possibility and now I have to sell a load of other stuff to afford it but.... a Black Sunburst Tremonti came up for sale near me and I managed to negotiate a good deal. Even if I had to drive all the way into central London to get it. This is literally dream guitar t...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
Just got back from Micky’s wedding. One of the groomsmen got delayed at the airport for 2 hours and really put a damper on the entire thing but otherwise it was fun!

Re: Video Game Bonanza!
Shadow of the Erdtree rightfully been kicking my tail lol, but I’ve been having a blast exploring the new expansion. Anyone else play Elden Ring / get the new DLC? When I get paid I'll be buying it. I only finished the base game last month, so it's good timing. It’s a fun expansion, they’ve added a...

Re: Not the best morning of mini golf though
I’m sleeping in the same room as Andy92 tonight. AMA What for? Bachelor party for Micky, who as it turns out, is not AI. A full night of breathing in each other's condensed sweat. Friendship goals... He doesn’t breathe in his sleep. Weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. You know that was the best nights o...

Rust In Peace was always my favorite Megadeth record. The guitar work is just phenomenal.

Re: Tremonti - Episode VI: Dusty Marching Machines
I think some people get used to seeing someone only play their signature guitar is what it stems from. It’s like seeing a photo of Slash playing a Strat lol Not a negative to me, but that’s my best guess as to where comments like that come from. It’s a dumb thing to get upset over, but I can underst...

Bad Cat makes some really underrated stuff (at least in the US I don’t see many around). That’s a nice grab.

Re: Amps & Other Guitar Gear
Just tried my main rhythm tone based on a Revv yesterday during a rehearsal and I needed to turn my treble right down cause it sounded much fizzier on a Marshall 4x12 compared to headphones. But I love it. I’ve noticed some cabinet combinations do sound fizzy with them so I tend to back off the pre...

Re: Amps & Other Guitar Gear
Good stuff. I'm loving the Revv and Archetype modulations on the POD. It's crazy that you can even assign a Digitech Whammy pedal modulation to the expression pedal. I would be over the moon to have an actual Revv :lol The Revv models in the Axe-Fx system are solid too. I have an FM3 and enjoy usin...
