Violinists deserve stalkers, too

Hmm. Was that really a good idea, Muffin? :shifty LOL she could always use another fan. Anyway, I'm doing a little mini-project of taking the BD audio, doing a little mixing on the low end (as others have mentioned), and going to save those clips to MP3 instead of the CD files and their mix. That o...

I kind of hope I can forget it.

That is something I have never imagined when listening to that song.

Re: Naplam Records US- Limited Edition Package Royal Albert Hall

The postcard was separate from the rest of the authentically signed postcards. It is clearly a facsimile signature. I've collected for years. It's easy to see a facsimile on something like this. I'm not saying Mark or the band did something wrong here. I'm guessing Napalm ran out of the "signe...

Re: Naplam Records US- Limited Edition Package Royal Albert Hall

There was a big blowup on Facebook about this. Yes, Roel, Mark always signs his own stuff, but it's pretty clear that a lot of people got color photocopies of Mark's signed photo in their box sets from Napalm instead of individually signed photos. I didn't chime in on the FB thread, but I got one of...

Damn good seeing a lot of the gang checking in!

Hey Drew! Was thinking about you when Myles announced his new tour dates and KC was as close as he's getting to me. Wondered if you might go to that one. How ya been? Hope the new job is going well.

if you like lights, lasers, and soaring guitar solos.

Have you seen TSO, Andrew? It's pretty freakin epic.

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

The CD mix is dreadful. Ripping the Blu-ray audio to my PC then playing it in my car was far superior; not just quality (actually I think at the quality level this is the worst of their concert albums), but the overall mix as well. I will have to try that. My first listen was the Blu-Ray through a ...

Re: Steve Perry Releases First New Song in Nearly 25 Years

I'm with ya, TF4L. I'd go nuts to see Neal and Steve together again, but I don't really see it happening either. There was so much momentum after their Rock n Roll Hall of Fame ceremony when they appeared together for the first time in like 20 years and they got along fantastically and Steve was so ...

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

I got my AB order on Saturday (but my Napalm order, which is coming from 35 miles away, is still delayed. Ugh.) but didn't have time to sit down with it until this morning, which was painful since I'd avoided watching any of the previews after the first one and I was dying to get to the real thing. ...

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

So my package is expected to arrive on Saturday at 8PM. Really, USPS? It actually takes four days from when you receive it from Colorado to sent it to California, about three states over? See why no one tours here? :lol Divide is about 40 minutes south of me, and I have to drive right past there to...

Damn, our cable/internet went out while I was out of town on Monday and we didn't record the latest Better Call Saul. I presume AMC airs the new episodes here and there, but now I gotta track it down!

Steve Perry - No More Cryin'

We're definitely getting the more "adult contemporary" side of things with the new singles, and maybe that's expected given age and his time away from the biz.
But I don't care. Thank god Steve Perry is making new music.

Re: Choice of singles

Appreciate the shout out, Kev. Tim has said many times that it's not really up to the band where they play as much as it is to the local promoters who are willing to book a venue for the band and sell tickets to the show. The promoters do this with the plan that they will make money on the show, so ...

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

You guys are making it incredibly difficult for me to resist temptation. I've gone this entire time completely in the dark as far as what to expect performance wise. The only thing I've seen is the first initial trailer. I mean sure I could just unsubscribe from the thread, but what fun would that ...
