AB4Lyfe, we'll get back to the job decision shortly, but first...

Taking some much needed time to practice cooking for myself these days because cooking is a basic skill that everyone should learn Maybe we need a TABN recipe thread. I love prepping meals. Spending an hour or so in the kitchen sipping a good drink and cranking some music while putting together a n...

Quitting a job you hate is about the healthiest choice you can make.

Sounds like a good opportunity, AB. Good luck with whichever direction you choose!

Goodhue: In The Ashes - Listen, Buy, Rock!!

Hey TABN peeps - one of our earliest TABNers, Jon Goodhue, just released his most recent solo album, In The Ashes, and it freakin kicks ass. Think of Alice In Chains with a tiny bit less grunge and bit more Alter Bridgeish melody and and flow and you've got a good idea. Jon wrote, played, and mixed ...

You know, the good kind!

There is no way to disable private messages (pm) but I think you mean the post limit that hides posts from new people. We do this to prevent spammers from posting garbage and viruses to the boards by constantly making new accounts and new threads with bad links in them. So post like you normally wo...

Or maybe you'll have to be called Grogu from now on.

Only my mom calls me that.

Doing lots of chill/reflection stuff, too.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I've seen a few you have mentioned (Mommie Dearest, The Great Escape, It's A Wonderful Life) and agree those are great ones. Looking forward to checking out some of the others.

Stay healthy, TABN

:cheers !

Laa, Laa, Laaaaaaaaa

Other than Grace Potter, I don't think I've even heard of anyone nominated for best rock album or rock performance. I did see that one of the rock nominees was also nominated for best alternative performance. WTF? #GrammysAreAJoke edit: actually I have of course heard of Fiona Apple, the one who als...

Or I could turn off the damned box and exercise or read or write or play guitar or do anything else.

With Lockdown 2.0 looming, I find myself panicked, not at the scarcity of toilet paper once again (really...WTF America? :facepalm ), but at the slim pickings in the TV/movie world. Anyone got any recs for great classic movies from the past? I was thinking about Lawrence of Arabia or Ben Hur or some...

I'm coming for you, Geraint. Maybe.

I really want to get into zwift, an online, virtual cycling community. I don't have the time/freedom to get out to ride often enough, and when I do get out, pushing pedals is like stepping in and of concrete. I'd love a way to make a 30-60 minute block of time efficient so I could do it 3-4 times a ...

The compensation is awesome and they are providing me with a luxury apartment including furniture and dishes! :) ...

These are the voyages of the starship Resilience.

NASA TV. Dragon X capsule is getting ready to dock with the ISS. We watched the launch yesterday evening, too. Pretty neat to be able to see all these things live.

Space flight is cool.

Hey, Denise...

How The Damage Done doesn't get more attention is beyond me. In fact, all the Blackbird B-sides could happily take the place of other songs on the album. Mainstream underrated AB tracks though? The Writing on the Wall gets unfairly slated I think. It's a banger. Cry a River is better than moist woo...
