Great series

Yay. They did a S2 of Sex Education! I hadn't heard this was coming out so I was really happy to find it was just released on Netflix. It's a really clever and enjoyable series with really likable characters. I will say that S2:E1 really worried me as it had a whole bunch of over the top ridiculousn...

Kamelot - The Great Pandemonium

A decade old, but this is one of my favorite guitar solos ever. It begins at 2:30, but don't skip this great song.

Playing behind Staind bothers me. Those guys are still a band? I thought Aaron took all his toys and went home a long time ago/

It's Britspeak, you illiterate cretin!

It's just an artistic thing. Where it drops some stuff in the continuity of the image, it adds something by the split images. Some will like it. Some won't. I imagine it's easier to pack multiple smaller screens in a truck than one large screen, though. Maybe those large ones disassemble? Yeah they...

Toss some shade at your witcher...

Binge watched The Witcher, then had to go back and rewatch it because of all the time jumps to really figure it out. It's a pretty creative and entertaining series, and very well produced. Really good CGI. It's kind of a poor man's Game of Thrones to me (though there are probably some fantasy fans w...

Re: Alter Bridge 'Walk the Sky' spring US tour 2020

Yep, they want to do a Canadian run as well, not just Toronto and Montreal. That was addressed in a Q&A that Myles and Flip did (the video is out there on Youtube somewhere). Man would I love to hear AB cover a Rush song in Toronto. They could pull that off, esp with the keyboard in the backgro...

Re: Best and worst Alter Bridge album

*sits alone in the corner* "One Day Remains" and "Break Me Down" are my favorite AB songs...I've never gone with the crowd. lol :bow Other songs get their run, but I always come back to One Day Remains. Brilliant song. Brilliant lyrics. If I could hear only one song for the rest...

But I'm also very appreciative, too!

Yes. Yes we should do a bit of the latter.

I'll be right over here waiting.

Re: The Movie Thread

I saw 1917 almost 2 weeks ago during it's limited release. It is fantastic. Great story and acting, and if you're into the science of filmmaking, the several extended single shot scenes are just incredible. I can't decide if it's a better movie than Journey's End, but either might make it onto a new...

Re: The Star Wars Thread (EPISODE IX SPOILERS Inside)

Saw it last night and really enjoyed it. Probably my favorite of the last 3. The ending seemed a bit clipped, and the purists will probably go mad over a lot of unanswered issues or that Rey/Kylo stuff near the end, but the CG and the various chase/fight scenes were well done and the movie was enjoy...

Damn, I WISH Shinedown would put out another album like Us And Them. Sound Of Madness is their only album since that was even remotely comparable - imo.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Two new songs by Serenity from their forthcoming album....

Set The World On Fire

Souls and Sins

They aren't breaking any barriers, and that is totally fine because I love this band as is.
