Tremonti on The Jasta Show podcast (Great In Depth Interview
Mark was recently on a podcast with the singer for Hatebreed talking about a whole bunch of things really in depth and some things he's never talked about. He talks about his writing process, about the Tremonti crew, as well as the future of AB and also the state of Creed. Great interview! Interview...

Re: Tremonti's second album "Cauterize" May 2015!
Sometimes having too much information is worse than having none because things in music and planning can be subject to change. I don't know much about releasing an album but planning a worldwide release date for the same day sounds like it could be stressful.

Re: Tremonti's second album "Cauterize" May 2015!
This is what Mark said to someone on a Facebook comment asking about the June release: "It is but a worldwide release takes a lot of time and planning my man! We have one shot to do it right, so it is going to be perfect. \m/" Guess he doesn't want to do it like AB normally does and have ...

Re: One of those moments...
One time when I was listening to AB III, I heard Ghosts and All Hope is Gone back to back. It was pretty great.abw1987 wrote:Heard an Alter Bridge song once.

Re: AB V
I hope they go back to their ODR days of writing, yet it keep it "complex" to keep fans happy. That would actually be pretty good. I'd love to hear them write another song like the title track ODR, that's a pretty hard riff and it's pretty melodic too. That and another song sort of like I...

Re: AB V
The vibe of Sympathy sounds very AB like (from what I've heard) mainly because it's the same chord progression as Ghosts.

Re: AB V
I assume Mark just writes for AB and Tremonti now. Considering he wrote 20 songs for T2 with all of the members of Tremonti having different schedules, AB should be fine. Myles is always writing stuff on tour with Slash and if he has an idea he likes for AB he sends it to Mark and sees what he think...

Re: AB V
How soon do you guys think we'll hear any info about AB V? I'd say at the earliest this fall. Even if it's just an interview with Mark or Myles or something asking about it I wanna know so bad. Just to get an idea of what direction they might go. Guess we'll just have to speculate for a while

Re: AB V
They've used some programmed strings before (like in the end of Waters Rising) but a full orchestra or even a live string quartet would be legit.Roneit wrote:Do you think the guys can afford an orchestra in some of the songs? (or at least some different strings in the background)

Re: AB V
I just want more acoustic/clean guitar. Doesn't have to be used for just a ballad but for anything. I'd love to hear them do another song like "Watch Over You" though for sure. And as a guitarist, the more alternate tunings (like open G and D5) the merrier.

Re: Myles's solo album
I don't really know what his touring schedule will be with Slash in the fall, but theoretically he could finish it and have enough time to do a small tour later this fall. I know AB will do some writing, but I'd imagine Tremonti will do some touring in the fall for this album. It'd be cool if Myles...

Re: Myles's solo album
Myles does have almost the whole month of April off so if all he has to do is record a few vocals and add a song or 2 it is possible he could have it finished by the time he gets back with Slash in late April. But I'm not sure if he'd actually do that in his time off or when he would release it

Re: AB V
You know what will be a big surprise? If AB V were not heavier than Fortress. If it is (and probably it will be), it's just predicable. I just want a Mayfield Four album with guitar solos. Agreed. I hope it's not heavier than Fortress. I think they know that heavy =/= better. They've tried to be he...

Re: Myles's solo album
Sadly I don't see him doing anything with it this year. He's touring with Slash through June and he's meeting up with AB in the later part of this year to start writing on AB V. Guess a 2020 release date isn't that funny or unrealistic at all I sure hope not.

Re: AB V
They never come to my state anymore anyways, so I'll take the album lol. Agree 110% lol. I've only seen AB once in 2011 in Louisville and it was good but they've never been close to where I live since (which is strange because I live an hour away from Nashville and they never get good shows and ven...

Re: AB V
Really hope they do some longer songs again too. Would love to see AB get more progressive overall. Seems like their longer songs are always so good on all albums, Fortress especially. The songs that were my favorites and the ones I saw others like on Fortress were the songs over 5 minutes.

Re: AB V
Fortress was a big step in the right direction after what AB III was. They tried to push themselves with some longer songs. They just need to cut loose on the next one. I would like to hear some more acoustic based stuff on the next album though. I think this band excels at being aggressive (Bleed ...

Re: TABN's Favourite Albums of 2014
Wasn't really the best year for music in my opinion but still some good releases. 1. Lift a Sail - Yellowcard 2. Another Language - This Will Destroy You 3. A Voice Within - Intervals 4. Moments of Clarity (EP) - Erra 5. Sonic Highways - Foo Fighters 6. Clear - Periphery 7. Sines - Jakob 8. Attack -...

Re: Tremonti: Creed is furthest thing from my mind
Not too sure about your source, Jared but the official AB Facebook page just shared the article. I don't think Tremonti would let be shared if it's not even what he really said.
