Re: The Fitness Thread

Nice!! I'm on Day 17. Not always eating perfectly but watching portions and counting calories. And gotten my DDPY done every day, even if I have to do some in the office at work. The weight hasn't changed yet, but I feel a lot better!

Re: The Fitness Thread

That's one reason I'm really glad I got away from the office environment. Driving a forklift is a lot of sitting too, but it's also a lot of moving around and walking and stuffs. It's so hard not to get out of shape when you have to be at a desk for so many hours a day, but hopefully you can keep it...

Re: The Fitness Thread

So how's everyone doing in this new year? It's sort of cliche to start a new program at the beginning of the year, but my wife and I both decided we need to reign it in a little bit so we've been trying to get things back on track. For my part, I'm using MyFitnessPal again to track my food - actuall...

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

I don't know what's so difficult about that song live, aside from that big long note at the end that nobody would hate him if he shortened up to play live. It's an incredible song and would be awesome to hear live more often!

Re: Mark Tremonti must go

I disagree with OP but I do agree that Mark must go ...to space. Never has such a shredder graced the great beyond. It's about time we get some sick riffs into lower Earth orbit. I remember reading that after recording Sonic Highways, Dave Grohl wanted to record the next Foo Fighters record in spac...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Eminem’s “Revival” album What'd ya think? I can't believe the scathing reviews it's been getting. I listened to most of it last night and thought it was pretty decent. I mean, Em isn't the cultural icon he was at the turn of the century, but he's still making some dope music, and his rhyming is sti...

I know a lot of fans on Facebook saw that and were like "WTF, South Africa?" and Tim replied saying there are plenty more big date announcements coming soon. :)

Damn, that sounds good. I haven't been to Chipotle since probably 2006. And the wife has never been there. Hmmm.... #WeekendGoals

Mark Tremonti must go

to the store and get some new shirts. We get it, man, you like black t-shirts. It's been like 20 years, you could bust out a red shirt, or a green shirt, maybe a nice button-up or a sweater. How about nice classic red-and-black lumberjack with the hat to match? Something? :shrug

Re: What Are You Eating/Drinking, Right Now?

It's been a while, but I'm back on that Rockin Wellness! I know the term "superfoods" gets thrown around, but I do love this stuff. I mix it in the nutribullet with almond milk, frozen banana, and powdered peanut butter. Makes an awesome shake for some energy for the overtime work hours. h...

Re: It wasn't even a triplane.

Damn, I tried the search function but couldn't find the original quote. It was years back on one of the earlier versions of TABN and so maybe it's buried in the archives. The gist was some people were talking about the greatest bands of all time and someone mentioned the Beatles. Someone else respo...

Agreed! I wish AA would have had a little bit longer lifespan. I suppose the other guys are busy with Godsmack but I'm sure they have some downtime here and there.

Re: Brian Marshall must go

I was really hoping this was going to be a tricky "...into the hall of fame" type post. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I'mma suggest pumping the brakes on this one. In answer to your last couple questions, yes, and yes. Marshall brings a bass touch that is so undeniably "A...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Walk the Moon's What If Nothing album. The 38th album released in 2017 that I have listened to. I've heard two tracks from these guys. One that's very overplayed and one that I find catchy. I'm going to hear an album from them and see what happens. What did you think? I've gotten really into WTM ov...

Re: Amps & Other Guitar Gear

Is anyone interested in buying a very lightly used Tremonti Wah pedal? I have one collecting dust, bought it back around 2009-10ish, used maybe a handful of times before I realize I have no business playing lead. :lol There is a small defect, the battery connector somehow snapped off, but I found th...

Re: Myles Kennedy - "Year of the Tiger"

The more I listen, the more I'm feeling an almost country vibe. And the more I'm digging it. Really looking forward to how the rest of the album comes together - and not looking forward to waiting 3 months for the album. Kinda wish it would have been about half that time, so Tiger doesn't get too ov...
