Re: What are you listening to right now?

^^ It's all right, Lotha. We all cross a certain line of music we wouldn't think of listening to. Take it from the guy that spent most of 2018 listening to Owl City.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

I need something to cheer me up. Something calm yet uplifting and I think these guys can help get me there. Switchfoot's Native Tongue album. The 3rd album released in 2019 that I have listened to. The previous album "When The Light Shines Through" was pretty solid. I think I see no reason...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

All right, after a few days off, I'm back to listening to new albums now. I got a lot in the queue for to pick so far. Let's start with this one. Fever 333's Strength in Numb333rs album. The first album released in 2019 that I have listened to. So I've been hearing this band on Octane from time to t...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

So, that was quite the long show. I had to tap out of it before the Soundgarden set (it was raining hard and I think I made the right call in order to beat traffic). All I can say that it was definitely worth the $95.00 even before Soundgarden. At least, I get to also say that I saw Metallica play F...

At the forum for Chris Cornell tribute show. Everything looks disorganized in comparison to Disturbed last Friday

Re: What are you listening to right now?

All right, so I planned on wanting to listen to everything Chris Cornell-related, about two weeks ago, in preparation to the tribute show on Wednesday, but I wanted to listen to Three Days Grace and Disturbed's catalogs after buying the ticket for last Friday's show. So, with that said, I'm just goi...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Well, in all honesty, it wasn't the full capacity of the arena. I saw 3 of the 200 sections being curtained off. Plus, there were still some open seats around the arena and the GA wasn't completely filled to the brim. Still, if someone told me that, at least, 10,000 people showed up, I believe them....

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Wow, I somehow made it to the finish of this sorta listening marathon. Disturbed's Evolution album. I guess like Three Days Grace's recent album, this falls under the sorta there column. It's not as low as the tripe of the albums I really hated in 2018, but there were a few solid songs and couple of...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

All right, back to listening to Disturbed. Disturbed's 10,000 Fists album. I've enjoyed the singles on this one so far out of the bunches (though Prayer from the Believe album is my favorite out of the bunch so far). I mean if they play the title track in LA and I don't see 10,000 fists in the air, ...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

All right, let's down to it. Going to listen to seven Disturbed albums in four days to get ready for the concert on Friday. I have no regrets. I think these guys have a lot more solid songs than people would like to give them credit for. Plus they had AB to open for them (when AB really needed the e...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Three Days Grace's Outsider album. Oddly enough, I've been mentioning how much I really disliked the latest Shinedown, FFDP, and Godsmack albums in 2018, but this new 3DG album sorta escaped my dislike. Let's see how the second listen of the album is. I recalled that Matt Walst's vocals was not as a...

Re: 15th Anniversary!

Man, 15 years as a band. I've been a fan of them for about 12 of those years. I think for the most part, some of my well-cherished memories of them have been the live streams over the years. Sure, their live streams of Rock AM Ring always has a big fault (hosts keeps talking at the start of their se...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Three Days Grace's Human album. First album without Adam Gontier on lead vocals. It's all downhill from here from here to me, though, Transit of Venus was the start of them lacking that "appeal" to me.

Re: Myles Kennedy is confused

I mean, now you're just willfully ignoring what I said. You can think whatever you want about it. Petulant, immature, vile, toxic, or alternatively, free-spirited, contextual, or humorous. But the point is that you said that if I use that to further my argument, it ruins the argument entirely. But ...

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

All right, all. Happy New Year. This year marks 15 years since Alter Bridge has been formed. Sadly, we would not hear anything from them (regarding stuff like them being in the studio or announcing a tour) until maybe around April. Still, it should be a good year for them. Heck, their 2018 was so mu...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

All right, well, I was going to spend the weekend starting to listen to all things Chris Cornell-related in preparation of the tribute show for him in January, but since I got the ticket for Disturbed with Three Days Grace opening, and that is the first show of 2019 for me, listening to Chris Cornel...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

All right, I'm considering pulling the trigger on buying the Nothing More tickets, but the only thing that would stop me is the parking near the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles. I'm so confused on where to find the best parking spot at a decent rate for around 7 hours or so. I hate parking in Downtow...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

I can't stop buying concert tickets. I saw that Ticketmaster priced the Disturbed and Three Days Grace show at the Forum for about $40.00 (fees included) for seats in the 200s row 18 and higher. I can't pass up on that. Five shows booked in 2019 before the year stated. I went to five shows in 2018. ...
