Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Well then. Two days from now, I would be leaving the office and heading to the House of Blues Anaheim to see Halestorm and Starset. I am still not ready for this. Hopefully, I can get good parking (and cheap) and get in and get out fast. First time I would be going to a concert by myself. For anyone...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Theory of a Deadman - Echoes I'm not a fan of Theory of a Deadman, but I've been listening Echoes sporadically throughout the day. It's a good song if you like sappy post-grunge ballads which I do. They had their lead single, Rx (Medicate), of their new album. Did not like that one. I also noticed t...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

All right, I got to a week to go before going to my two concerts and I got five albums I want to listen through from this band before the shows, so let's start with this one. Breaking Benjamin's Saturate album. Edit: That was actually a much more enjoyable listen the second time I listened to it in ...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Fozzy's Judas album. The 29th album released in 2017 that I have listened to. Let's see how this one fares. They haven't really written an album lately that matched the quality of Chasing The Grail to me and I don't see this one breaking the trend. I do see this album getting them more respectabilit...

Re: MUSE

So I found out that Muse is going to be playing at the closing ceremony at Blizzcon (a video game convention from Blizzard Entertainment, the guys that made Starcraft, Diablo, World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and Hearthstone). A lot of known bands have played at Blizzcon actually. Foo Fighters, Metalli...

I honestly gave him the benefit of the doubt until we found out that Milan dvd was not going to be out in June 2014 and then he made that post here insulting us as a loyal fan base.

+ the fact that Tremonti is pretty charismatic and therefore somewhat an idol for many guitar kiddies i'd say. + Creed + WWE The +Creed I can possibly admit on that's why AB has been staying more than afloat and alive nowadays, but the bands I listed like 12 Stones, Drowning Pool, Saliva, Trapt, an...

Re: Alter Bridge Fall Tour 2017 (South America and Europe)

The way I see it, for the tours after this to come, it might be just either Crows on a Wire and/or My Champion that they will play which sorta sucks given that there are still plenty of songs from The Last Hero that they have yet to play that I want them to play (like Twilight and of course, Cradle ...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Poets of the Fall's Carnival of Rust album Edit: All right, about a day later as of October 8th, going to listen to Halestorm's The Strange Case Of... album. Hmmmm, four songs in and this album hasn't really aged that well. I mean it's still a fine album with some good fun songs. This album was five...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Only two weeks to go before I embark on seeing Halestorm with Starset and Breaking Benjamin's acoustic show within a three day span. I got a lot of albums left to listen to. Let's start with this.

Halestorm's Halestorm album.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Living Colour's Shade album. The 28th album released in 2017 that I have listened to. This year is an odd year for me when it comes to listening albums, after a tremendous year in 2016 of listening to enjoyable albums, I find that there are barely any albums in 2017 that comes close to my top five a...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

So I stumbled upon the good old Gurthie thread and somehow I found this.

Zaz, do you actually remember this?

I can't believe Gurthie was three years ago. It's been such a long time since then.

Re: What Are You Eating/Drinking, Right Now?

It's been a while since I had an In-n-Out cheeseburger. Got that with Animal-style fries and a milkshake. Cost me nearly $10 and I had to wait for about 15 minutes in line, but it was pretty damn good.

Re: Be in Alterbridge documentary.

Alterbridge Alter bridge Please make sure you write the band name correctly on your project: Alter Bridge <- it has a space between the words and both words start with a capital. I still don't even know why people spell it that way. A fair amount of the UK people spell it as one word as well.

Los Angeles Kings vs Philadelphia Flyers. First game of the season for the Kings. In all honesty, I haven't been much of a Kings fan or a hockey fan in the last three years due to school, work, World of Warcraft and sadly the Kings' last three seasons have not been the greatest. Well, that's going t...

Re: Royal Albert Hall Setlist/Speculation

^^ The thing is though is that the typical Download crowd would not react the way that the Royal Albert Hall crowds were. They would not react well to a song like Words Darker Than Their Wings or In Loving Memory (plus that song is not really a "heavy" song so some parts of the crowd, that...

Re: Royal Albert Hall Setlist/Speculation

I concur. The big takeaway was that the regular stuff that has been played live this whole tour (and the tours prior) was not played at all. Rise Today (their always closing song), Come to Life, Metalingus (Their most well-known song to the mainstream), Isolation (their only #1 active rock hit in th...

There was probably some. I heard somewhere from those that were there that he took some selfies during Broken Wings or something like that.
