Re: AB VI Speculation

I guess another thing to consider is this. Year of the Tiger and A Dying Machine, I felt, did a lot more for Myles and Mark than The Last Hero in terms of their growth as musicians than The Last Hero did. Myles, incorporating some unique instruments in Year of the Tiger. Mark, I felt he varied some ...

-Write songs. I don't care if every song has the same structure. I don't care how progressive the songs are... Just write songs. -Use an orchestra... Please be influenced by the RAH experience. -Spend more time on it Sadly, time is something that these guys do not have much of with how much involve...

I don't think they really have the fans in mind that much with how they do stuff given various fans' gripes of the sound quality of their albums......... :shifty

Re: Myles Kennedy Solo Tour 2018

Twitter pictures confirm that it is Tim Tournier (on bass) and Zia Uddin (drums). It also looks like he played The Great Beyond according to this instagram post. https://www.instagram.com/p/BlRLFR9BKSD/?utm_source=ig_twitter_share&igshid=tq3s8e7uikdx Here's a video. https://youtu.be/9Ttvg30vsiA

Owl City's cover of Waving Through A Window from this musical play called From Dear Evan Hansen.

Damn, this hits me hard.

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

^^ Well, done and done. Costs me about $63.00 with all the shipping fees included. I think it's good value. 2 CDs, DVD and bluray. Shirt and Earbook. I feel like it's worth it. Plus, Napalm has done a good job so far working with AB so it's not a bad thing to buy it from their store.

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

All right, I still don't know if the earbook is worth the $22.00 to add to the bundle I'm about to order. I need some enlightening on what it could typically contain.

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

All right, I'm contemplating getting the 2CD/DVD and Bluray/T-shirt bundle or that + the Earbook from the US store of Napalm Records. I need some convincing on what sort of content I get from the Earbook that may be worth the extra $22.00.

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

so the only way to get the earbook is to get the $150 bundle? want to be sure I don't know if it is the same earbook (probably is), but Napalm Records has an earbook bundle on their US store. https://www.napalmrecordsamerica.com/store//alter-bridge-live-at-the-royal-albert-hall-featuring-the-parall...

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

Addicted to Pain was a decently popular single (charted as high as #4 in Active Rock radio), but they could have also featured either Open Your Eyes (#2 in the charts as a single) or Ghost of Days Gone By (#4). Maybe they decided to approach this the same way as their album releases and release the ...

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

Well, they've been using that plain font in the A since The Last Hero period as oppose to their old A that had a post-grunge motif look.

Edit: Oh, wait a minute, the AB on the Skull. That's their old logo font. That's what you meant. Huh.

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

So, I'm thinking of getting the 2CD/DVD/Blu-Ray package with the shirt from the Napalm records US store site. Is this a good design of a shirt? Never have I would think to associate AB with skulls. Birds and stars? Sure. Skulls? Not so much. https://www.napalmrecordsamerica.com/store/pub/media/catal...

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

Yep, I think it sounds good for the first song out to promote this thing. Personally, the one thing I would have liked to see is the orchestra replicating the opening show intro, during the Fortress tour, before going into Addicted to Pain.

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

From the preview, i barely noticed the orchestra. The guitars are very clear. Maybe it's the song itself. It's more heavier. I hope they don't make the orquestra subtle. I think judging from the preview, the orchestra is placed ok. I can hear them clear enough and they are distinct enough, but I wo...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

So I was about to buy something off of Pollstar. A tour history of a band where it includes about 300+ shows on how well-attended and how much revenue these shows make. For $25.00, I was about to pull the trigger, but wait, they wouldn't let me since I have to buy $125.00 of tour history credit befo...

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

Well, if we really are nitpicking, the definition of few is "a small number of." One is a small number, so the word few is accurate here, even though, we would think that few is at least more than one.

Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall

So the first 2 discs are audio, and the 3rd disc is the full length concert on DVD/Blu-Ray? Correct, but the funny thing from what I am seeing on the tracklist on the OP is that for the DVD, there is going to be some behind the scenes stuff in between songs? That's interesting to format it that way...
